Whose music aged the best between Twice, Blackpink and Red Velvet?

Twice old music doesn't work for me, it's the recent and mature songs that I liked more

RV old music was a meh imo (except for Bad Boy)

With BP, their music sounds outdated

Twice, they had classic songwriting moves from the start, and they didn't follow trends as much. Most of their TTs could be released in any of the last 3 decades and feel right

BP: enough said here

RV: also pretty classic at times but they also chased trends set by other groups more and also had jarring "SM house style" moments which aged like milk

For me, I'd say Blackpink because I usually tend to like all of their b-sides equally and I listen to their music more often as well. For Red Velvet, I rarely put their songs on unless I really like them, and for Twice, I don't like any of their b-sides at all and their music is forgettable to me.

twice's albums pre fancy you era are absolutely boring or unlistenable to me with the exception of their title tracks and i also didnt like talk that talk or ready to be as much. rv has some of the best bsides ever to grace in kpop but i definitely do skip some of their eerie quirky tracks. for bp, i skip like 4 to 5 songs out of their 30 songs discog. so y'all do the analysis.

bad boy, psycho, feel my rhythm all stuck with big trap drums (and with FMR, it really went for it). they could have done a million other things but those were saved for the b-sides mainly. there were other things they did well in a quirky way, but they still clearly followed the major sounds overall. we're just at a point where that trap sound is really aged

tbf, Twice loves to borrow influences but they stick to more classic things, so it doesnt age out as much

Winner is Red Velvet!

2nd is BP. Their music videos make their songs enjoyable.

3rd Twice but their earlier songs (classic)

Twice's early tracks are so nostalgic and it only becomes more as time goes by.

Red Velvet by far imo.

Red Velvet. They are awesome.

Twice for me, their earlier work is great and still very much enjoyable but I can also see their later albums B-sides and certain TT doing well down the line for me too.

Add solos albums and Japanese releases and I think they win for me.

RV is a close 2nd, but I will be honest I haven't listened to their discography as extensively as twice so their might be some degree of bias here.

BP AIIYL and D4's rap part still have me in a chokehold to this day but I think rest of the songs not so much like before. They are nice to listen to often after sometime but just not your everyday kind of songs.

Red Velvet for sure! RV and Twice have diverse sounds as well, so its not as repetitive as BP.

it depends on mood. I think discography of all 3 groups aged well, maybr not so much for RV's earlier material (Happiness, DD, ICC, rookie).

If im in the club, BP all the way. Those songs by BP are still clubbangers, almost everyone including the suepr young ones can sing along to BP's songs, even their old ones. Just show how big the influence is BP + their songs really dont age

If im driving after a tiring day, I might blast some old Twice songs (from Debut to yes or yes). Those songs really bring up my mood.

I casually listen to RV songs (selective ones cause cant stand some of them).

Chill Kill album is a masterpiece.

Guys if you don't like songs from the start it's not a matter of aging poorly

I've never really been able to get into RV, besides Feel My Rhythm and In My Dreams. Nothing else has really stuck. Maybe Bad Boy and Psycho. And I did really try and get into RV when I first was into Kpop after an early kpop friend really recommended them hard. But... I just found myself not actively pursuing the music much and never connected with the members.

Twice... Their cutesy stuff isn't my style baby, but some of their tracks I really do like. Even though they are supposedly some of their least well received. Cry For Me. I Can't Stop Me. I love those two songs. They are edgier and... harder than most Twice fare and much more up my alley.

And my music style is, no matter what genre, edgier, harder and/or c*ntier. Blackpink easily ticks those boxes for me. They are a group I always go back to and I especially like their live set versions of their songs, with the Band 6 live band. They are, in most ways, the kpop group that most aligns with other genres I listen to.

RV for me

Blackpink, their music is timeless. I still listen to music BP released during debut year

RV for me, they've got great depth and variety in their b-sides.

BLACKPINK > TWICE (Fancy onwards) > Red Velvet > TWICE (pre-Fancy)

Rv-like a lot of their bsides/title tracks still listen to them, I genuinely like their tts and they still hold up for me.

Twice- like lot of their songs mostly tts some bsides i still will listen to like ooh ahh or what is love or TT 🙏😫

Blackpink- same w twice, I like their songs but like I don’t really listen much but I like shut down and hard to love

I think for me it is not the songs. It is the rv vocal for me that do wonder.. put rv vocal in any song i would listen to it in a heartbeat

Twice early music it's still their best one, still fun to listen now, same for bp

RV has some odd music, like I can't take dumb dumb or that song with the moster thingy seriously, they kinda fall in the same category as fx when as years go by u realize some of their music is just not listenable (still to a lesser extent that fx tho)

Blackpink have a solid discography but they always played safe because their sound is very influence by hip hop and it's a music genre still very trendy and popular so most of their music still sound fine now

On the other hand twice is the group who always play the most safe, from the 3 of them they are the most classic kpop group and most of their album bside always play it safe, the sound of their album is really giving 2010's
