1. Why didn’t Red Velvet attend? Do they have any schedule??
2. SM won’t let their idols attend if they can’t win an award
3. NCT didn’t attend because they were on tour ㅜㅜ
4. I want to see 3rd generation idols..ㅠ
5. NCT's tour overlaps with the award shows
6. Seventeen is on dome tour today!
7. BTS is doing individual activities
8. J-Hope will attend this year’s MAMA

And Cheer Up was covered by the rookie group collab stage so, in a way, Twice was still there. Kind of.

The end of 3rd gen? This is the first year since 2017 that I didn’t watch any of the award shows.. damn am I gonna be like the crusty 2nd gen stans??
Red Velvet went to Genie Music Awards, they probably could not come because they were getting ready for their comeback.

Ceremonies have no taste. Mama before 2017-18 was excellent. All the groups were singing live. The solo scenes were perfect. Now there is no group that attracts me like that. There are 4th generation girl groups but I understand that they are rookies. The energy and charisma of the 3rd generation groups were more intense indeed.

True, but KPOP and the GP's overall focus has shifted to 4th gen. 3rd gen are not going to be the main focus for most of the idol events anymore. Twice will forever be feeding the fans, but not specifically what I'm referencing.
