The numbers for the top three are pretty amazing considering none of them have had a proper comeback this year. This was counted until the 17th of June so basically not enough time to consider BTS release too much. Im surprised by the absence of AESPA and (G)-IDLE. I am also impressed with JYPE, without the monster that is BTS, JYPE groups would have the most streams and they have the highest performing BG and GG in the 4th gen for this year. Remember that ITZY has not had a comeback this year either.
YGE needs to start getting their group out there more. They basically only have BP pushing them into the international scene. Without BP and the BP members, YGE is basically absent on the international scene. I mean they make so much from them that they might not worry. SM seems to be powerful in Korea with AESPA but that doesn't seem to translate much to international fandom.
Of course, I would like to point out Spotify streams are the be all and end all. Just because some groups arent here doesn't mean they arent big overseas. You would need to combine Youtube music streams, Apple streams and the like. But it is an interesting look nonetheless. Overall, BTS is dominate and Twice and BP are putting out amazing numbers considering especially BP which has had new music in nearly two years.
