Do you buy physicals?

ahh I went a bit more crazy with collecting awhile back, but I've slowed down a lot since I don't really have a steady income.

I make exceptions on occasion tho. Kind of impulsed buyed 3 signed P1harmony albums recently... that's what I get for being fff whipped.

Oh do I!!!! I fucking love collecting physicals, I even use the CDs! I have a lot from many different idols since I usually prefer to get them for the album itself and not the idols.

Only if I like (note not love) the title track, the majority of the b-sides, the cover, and the styling in the photography. The last physical I bought was the Seunghun jewel case version of CIX's last mini album.

The last physical I considered buying but did not buy? I decided not to buy because both the b-sides and the styling in the photography were not to my taste. I liked the title track, the last b-side on the mini, and the cover art was passable.

Not anymore. I no longer own anything that can play a physical CD.

Back when I did buy them, I usually used Amazon, since they were one of the few channels where I could find the CD and not have shipping double the cost of the album. Good luck if you don't buy it immediately though, the prices from private sellers skyrocketed so fast.

Yes. I buy from Weverse and the shipping is sometimes more expensive than the actual album. But I’m lazy to look around for other alternative. Anyway I don’t buy merchs, photo books, vinyls etc. Only albums.

If I really like one of the songs then Yes. I have quite the extensive collection. I honestly hate digital and always have. If I can't watch the music video I listen to CD's. I'm old school.

I've only ever bought the physicals from one group even though I have many faves. I honestly couldn't say why that is because I don't remember why it started lol.

Yes I collect my faves albums but I also have random Kpop albums from artists that aren’t my faves but I really enjoy a particular album

So this is a very interesting question!, for me personally I don't buy a lot of phsyicals. It's not that I don't want to or can't, but I only want to buy if its something that I really enjoy and I enjoy all the tracks. I only have 3 physical albums that I purchased for a special personal milestone in my life.

1. BAP Signed Blue Album.

Reason. HoneyMoon came out in 2017, the same time I was having a hard year and the first song that drew me into BAP, especially the member Moon Jongup. Who isn't the greatest at replying to international fans, but cutely hearts all comments underneath his solo account on youtube, which I think is cute. This album was the hardest for me to find for a reasonable price in Canadian $ to.

2. Pentagon MWAVE Signed album.

After the issues with the BAP members, I found Pentagon to be that group who helped me through a lot. Even more so, Yuto, Hui, Shinwon and Jinho.

3. DPR MITO (the 1st one) album.

Ian makes me feel okay about being partly bi polar and all that other stuff I deal with. I also love the effort DPR puts into things, I got it during the second round of pre order after Scott tweeted about it.

Other then that I don't really have albums, although a lot of current and former groups that mean a lot to me, I realize that I can help them more by just enjoying the content and purchasing what is more reasonable to me. 😊✌🏻 Although I won't lie and say how close I am to considering purchasing a signed OneTeam album..

No I stopped. I didn’t buy DFTF. But I did till obsession. Idk I’m not interested any more lol. If they have a concert that’s the only kpop thing I’ll ever spend money on ever again. I’m just not interested in spending money like that on kpop again. It doesn’t give me the excitement it once did.

No, the shipping costs are too expensive. Only digital versions.

Yes, TWICE Korean Albums only as their Japanese Physicals don't have enough extra content to make it worth the cost.

Yes, i buy physicals the last album that i bought was lesserafim antifragile album iridescent opal, its so pretty and i love it. I also got a chaewon photocard and the album itself is fragile. i usually buy my albums from amazon and target, one time i bought a rainbow blaxx special album on ebay. Atm I've been using target more. I'm going to continue collecting twice albums until their tenth anniversary.

only twice. i have most of their discography, except one or two album versions i haven't gotten my hands on yet. i'd like to display everything eventually

i usually buy online unless i come across an in person store that happens to have smth i don't have yet.

i'm not sure if i'll buy physicals once twice stops having them.

Haha yep...my dream is to one day own all the Twice albums

It's a very expensive dream (and one version each is fine)

But as far as physicals go, I have Merry & Happy, Taste of Love, Formula of Love: O+T=<3, Between 1&2, and IM NAYEON (all Twice albums) and for others, I have Born Pink (Blackpink), Go High (Hi-L) and Girls Digipack (Aespa)

If you're wondering why I bought an album from a nugu girl group with only about 3 songs (Hi-L), I really wanted to support them because I love their music. And for the digipack, I was buying something small at Target and in order to get it shipped in, I had to purchase something else with it and I chose the digipack because I like aespa and it was cheap. It has photocards, a mini photobook and everything...I think the only difference is that it doesn't have as much things a normal physical album and of course, it has no CD.
