I wasn’t previously that much into gg, but over the last two years, have really discovered ones I love. I know people complain about girl crush, but gc and its associated genres is what pulled me into the music. (I know people will say well this group or that group is not gc but I really don’t know how to categorize the very different sound of many 4th Gen groups that is lower in pitch and less focused on being cutesy.)

1. Purple Kiss

vocals for days (which is also my priority in a song) and a range of genres that reminds me a lot of RV. They pivot rapidly from fun and bright to goth lite. Solid rap.

2. Aespa

Again, the vocals and just songs that really slap.

3. Billie

I really like their sounds and vocals. Moon Sua is a great Kpop rapper.

4. Pixy

Vocals aren’t as strong here as the top 3, but strong rap. And again I like this musical style, which is darker and not afraid to be dissonant.

These are the four groups I pay the most attention to.

5. Itzy

I didn’t really care for their earlier stuff but liked Loco and its EP and Voltage. A lot like Pixy, the vocals aren’t as strong here but I like the music.

After that it’s a combination of groups I like a song or two from but don’t really pay attention to and groups whose music I didn’t care for.

But on some of these I only liked the bsides..

Both got the same addictive song, and a weird tt 😄😄. I also really love Billlie's snowy night (and Patbingsu even if that doesn't count)

Actually I quite liking all of their tt but I always can't remember which one is which from their intro (except run2u)😄😄

This list is very very difficult, each group has three really great songs.

Idle has Uh Oh, OMG, and Dumdi

Everglow has Adios, Dun, and Pirate

Itzy has Icy, Not Shy, and MITM

Loona has Star, Why Not, and Paint the Town

I might have to go with Itzy, aside from the three i listed, they also have Dalla and Sneakers which are both bops, and only one flop, Loco. Everglow only has one flop as well, BBC, but Latida and First are not as good as Dalla and Sneakers. Idle and Loona have no other title tracks i care to listen to.

1. IVE. They barely have a discography so not sure if they’ll stay this high. I didn’t really like eleven butI have added all their other songs in my playlist.

2. Stayc: I didn’t like any songs in their debut album. The first song I liked from them was stereotype and it’s addictive. I liked almost all of their songs on their recent album. Curious about their next cb. They might move depending on that

3. They have many good songs but also many songs that I dislike so as a whole I’ll put them on 3. Mostly because I didn’t like anything from their latest cb. I do like savage, forever, dreams come true and lucid dream

4. Itzy: I like dalla dalla, wannabe and shoot. The rest is mostly listenable but I don’t go out of my way to listen to it.

5. Le sserafim: their songs are very easy to listen to. Sour grapes and blue flame are pretty good but I got tired of them pretty soon after it was released.

6. New jeans: I like hurt. The other songs they released feel like they’re missing that oomph. Same as lsf, haven’t released any really bad songs yet.

7. G idle: I don’t love any of their songs but tomboy is pretty good

8. Don’t like any of their songs. Up chorus is catchy at least

9. Nmixx: Lily m and Haewon are one my favorite female idols from 4th gen but their songs are not my taste at all

For me it's:

1. GIDLE: I liked all their title tracks except for tomboy, they have quality songs like hann, lion, oh my god, hwaa, senorita, so many good songs

2. ITZY: I liked all their itle tracks except for Icy, I would have liked it way more if it wasn't for the ugly chorus...all the verses and break dance are amazing!

3. PIXY: didn't like their debut song but the other title tracks are great!

I need to wait for ive to release more songs and then put them in my top3!

Only counting those groups (except Loona because I don't consider them 4th gen):

1. Billlie. Top notch music so far, I'm unsure of how their next comeback will be but so far Mystic Story knows what they are doing. This group's potential is genuinely scary, I can't find a single weak thing skill-wise about them.

2. Aespa. Amazing production for their title tracks but apart from Lucid Dream and Illusion I haven't connected to their b-sides that much.

3. G-Idle. Liked more their early music, still impressive how good their songs were regardless of the genre or vibe they tried

4. IVE. Very solid debut, Love Dive bores me.

5. Itzy. Not a fan of their music for the most part.

The rest you mentioned I honestly don't care that much about.

1. Kep1er. LOVEEE Their music. Its so fun to listen to. Ive been defending Wa Da Da since it dropped! Wa Da Da is number 6 in my most played songs of all time. Up was even better. Best chorus from a 2022 song. The Girls was amazing too. Cant wait for their Japanese debut. Im too lazy to explain the rest of the groups besides Kep1er and Weeekly.

3. Weeekly. Top notch discography until Ven Para. Still, only 2 bad songs in their 24 song discography is good.
