I wasn't a fan back when it all happened, so I don't know the whole story. From the more recent new though, it seems like people's perceptions have shifted about who was really to blame in that whole thing tho.

Jiwoo and Somin from KARD are not that close outside of activities from what I understand, but they are also extremely professional with promoting. It's super annoying that people try to twist it into them hating each other (people were trying to use it as proof Somin was bullying that girl from April), but I don't think there's hostility or anything, I just think they don't hang out because they don't have similar interests.

It's totally normal and expected that not all idols will gel with their members. They were thrown together as coworkers. I assume not all of us are close with all of our coworkers. Even ones that started as friends, may find themselves drifting apart later or even clashing as they grow and change.

I think it's just antis trying to stir up drama within the group.
But yes, we can't quite know their true relationships. They've mentioned before that Dahyun is the most private person off camera anyway.

I don't know, from the groups i follow they seem all pretty close (but maybe i'm wrong and they're all good actors).
But I remember that in an interview ITZY answered the question very honestly and replied that some members were not close at first (Yeji & Lia) and since then they had learned to know each other.

Exactly. Lots of people forget that being an idol is their job and sometimes you're just not that close to your coworkers and that's okay. I do think most groups are quite close, especially during the living together in the dorms stage. I'm sure they argue and have moments where they're pissed at each other, but I've heard several groups talk about how important it is to deal with the conflict openly and then move on. And that's the way it has to be when you live with someone.
I also remember something the members of Super Junior said... they're grown up and living their own lives in their own homes and doing their own thing so they may not see each other often or even talk to each other regularly when they're busy like they did when they were living in the dorms together, but that's also how it is with their real siblings when they grew up so it just makes them feel like family.

I've seen clips from that and yeah, it was so sad. I'm glad that Joohoney and him are so close now. I like that MX has been open about the fact that they have disagreements and they solve those disagreements "by arguing" lol

Agreed, i still hate starshit lol. I just hate what they did to im, them knowingly guilty of what they did in produce to people, the way they handled wonho's scandal when he was innocent, instead of protecting him they just removed him. i'm so jaded lol

That was mostly an inside joke between them lol
while they do have members that are awkward among each other, especially the older with the newer members, most of them trained together (Shotaro being the only one who didn't train with the other neos) and have promoted as group of 23 since 2020 so it isn't that bad.
They all hang out from time to time, like we would find out jaehyun (127) was working out with Kun (wayv) someday and then the next week some 127 and wayv members were decorating christmas trees at chenle's house, shotaro was hanging out with taeyong (127) and jisung (dream), yangyang (wayv), etc

I always thought Sistar was one of those groups. I think they built a friendship towards the end, but they always seemed more like co-workers. The only 2 who seemed like friends were Bora and Hyolyn.
Blackswan is a current group who clearly don't all get a long and that was before the whole bullying between members controversy.
