Yeah I am. The star power is there but the song isn’t that great. It didn’t it even blew up within the first couple days release like you normally see with idol releases and no promo after d-day it seemed like it was never going to go anywhere.

I’m thinking it’s mostly with Aespa success that the public is curious and checking out another song featuring them that’s driving the success.

I mean sure aespa is trendy nowaday, but I don't think that entirely up to them. Taeyeon, seulgi and Wendy are sure contribute to the song success also.

Here the rule of thumb, If the song is rising slowly and don't lose it uls, then it will stay long on the chart. I think it can enter the top 10 with it current trajectory.

Edit: I am also baffle how korean like this. For aespa songs, I kinda understand.

This nct reject going top20 after all the so called backlash (which was overblown over here) is a bit shocking. Aespa is really proving how popular they are.

That's the thing though. You have that line up made up of artist that public likes and therefore rank high on charts like Taeyeon, RV and Aespa so you'd expect the fans of them to collectively contribute to at least a massive surge of interest in the first couple days. But it obviously didn't, the song didn't do well at all given the line up. Lack of promo after release didn't help either. So a lot of people thought that was it, the big project came and went with a whimper. For the build up and hype it pretty much seen like a flop at release

As for why it's currently doing well it's likely mostly due to Aespa rather than the whole squad seeing as dreams come true has been slowly rising on charts and of course the bumper year they had

May have something to do with 5+ fandoms helping numbers a bit

I'm not surprised that the song isn't a flop despite not having the best reception, the fandom power of the members alone is enough to guarantee a decent charting position.

not long ago we saw this Weekend+Queendom+Savage lined up in top 10 for weeks so ones would expect them to do at least top 30 and free fall from there since there is a lack of promo, no physical release, no photoshoot book, no mv like literally nothing but the stage video itself. but seeing it still raising and gain more uls is such a shocker to me. but at the same time i kinda expected this?? idk so weird

I don't care that much about how the song does on the charts.

What I want is an MV of this with all the GOT girls, performances of it with the full group and I want some more songs and comebacks of this combination of GOT members, before the rotation starts

But grats to the Girls On Top, if the song turns out to end up in the top 5 of the charts, hopefully this will convince SM to have some more promotion and actual effort invested in the group

yes honestly at the beginning I thought this song gonna peak early in the top 20-30s and then freefalling after few days. These kinds of sound usually doesn't do well on Kcharts + knetz ridiculed the lyrics that caused multiple times trending on theqoo/pann. Yet here we are the song showing no sign of stopping and instead climbing slowly to top of charts

This stage clip is still trending #1 in youtube music Korea until now. Really unbelievable defeating multiple clips of IU songs . I realize this is majority because of aespa because currently only them from that allstar lineup able to trending at the top of the charts for a long time in youtube music korea.

But doesn't mean it all because of aespa since taeyeon and wendy high notes cuts gainning nearly 1m++ views in youtube and the contents all praising them. So combination of these.
