Kinda. It's not the same as 2017 or 2018 but it is what it is. Though I feel like 2022 will be very different.

Better than 2019 and 2020 in my opinion

2020 -> No IU album. No Red Velvet album.

2021 -> Yes IU album. Yes Red Velvet album.

Therefore, 2021 > 2020.

2021 has been an amazing year for me Aespa's comeback, Red Velvet comeback today and had Twice, Stayc, Exo, Bts, Itzy and Queen Taeyeon and Queen Hyoyeon and more

Feel like 2019-2021 is pretty much the same, with some periods that is better then a couple of month that is "weak". It think the last three month of 2020 and first month of 2021 had a lot of good songs from the girlgroups. But I think 2017-2018 was even worse when it comes to girlgroup songs, with some exception.

Yes. The music that was released so far has been very underwhelming.

The only thing that is missing is exo promoting, but year that exo drops an album can't be bad yk.

It all comes down to the artists you stan and the type of music you listen to, if I only listened to day6 on repeat I sure as hell would be disappointed in this year. There were a lot of good releases this year, twice, txt, red velvet, the boyz, stayc, etc. I think because of covid every comeback seems a bit lackluster

It’s very mid. There’s tracks I like. Rosé, IU, StayC, Aespa, RV, Twice, OMG, Exo

But it’s been very meh. 2020 was more exciting. Plus, we were coming off some good hits at the end of 2019. It just don’t feel like the releases are coming frequent.

- OMG Nonstop was sweet bop

- Sunmi Porappippam was awesome

- Hwasa Maria was cool

- BTS ON was pretty refreshing

- Nature girls is huge bop

- Cherry Bullet Hands Up is great

- Black Mamba was way better than Next Level

- Apink released another bop

- Mamamoo released Dingga

- April released lalalilala

- Helicopter was bop by clc

- Weki Meki Oopsy is so catchy

As someone who tries to listen to as much stuff from any group as possible, yes.

SHINee after along time made a comeback as whole group, Exo, Seventeen, Twice , Red velvet with their long awaited comeback, Aespa, Stayc, Weeckly, Txt, and Rose finely had her long awaited solo debut, Somi is doing well with her comeback, Hyuna made a comeback this year and it was well received, Sunmi, Oh my girl, loona, Dreamcatcher, Fromis_9 finely had a comeback, Brave girls had an unexpected hit and some second generation groups are receiving love all over again and so many groups made a comeback this year, 2021 is the busiest year for Kpop and the scandals were there to spice up things what this year is lacking it's fan ware and honestly they won't be missed
