SM male idols
I hear a lot of people say that SM looks to plastic or whatever

I prefer HYBEs visuals, I mean, look at Le Sserafim for example, every singe one of them is a visual. I'd even go as far and say that their visuals are evn stronger than NewJeans. It just that Le Sserafims vuslas fit into these kinda roles like: Eunchae, the cute one, Yunjin, the Hot Girl, Kazuha, the elegant one, Sakura, the shy one and Chaewon, the charismatic one.
For Male idols , it's not even close for me NCT alone clear all the BG under HYBE in term of visuals
for Girl group, it's actually very close because for me SM and HYBE have the best looking GG currently in kpop
my only problem with Hybe is that they tend to go for this "baby face " visual for all their maknae in their girlgroup and it's not the type of visual i enjoy
i prefer visual who looks more mature like Aespa or red velvet
I think both have some really good visuals, for me they are same level.

i think out of the 4th gen Girl group Minji is for me the most traditional korean beauty , that's why i never really understood the hype around her.
and don't twist my word she's really pretty i just find don't find that she stand out really
on the other hand Hyein also is a very traditional korean beauty but she have this thing in more, i think it's the plump lips
which make that even if she have a generic korean beauty, she also have something else who n the same time don't make her look like the standard korean beauty
and i honestly that once she's no longer a kid and her facial feature get more refine by the age
and she also grew up enough to find her own identity and style
and she would have go through different hair style etc... to find the one who suits her the best because for the moment Ador have played safely with her styling, she always have blaack or brown hair
she'll finally be the member that most people acknowledge as the visual member of Newjeans

All idols are obviously really pretty, it's their job to look pretty after all, but sm idols aren't my type at all. There are few exceptions like kai and ningning but like i said, not my type
Jype has(d) got7, twice and itzy. None pf the members look alike and they are all gorgeous

Not that they're bad, but of the Big 4, I would've rated HYBE's visuals last of the 4. I guess it shows how personal bias and preferences leads to different likings when it comes to beauty and looks.
Always makes me wonder how much whether you like a group or person (or dislike for that matter) influences how you view their looks more positively (or negatively), also not just in K-pop.

ehhh for me, I give credit when do..no matter if I like you or not.
so I'll admit SM has a lot of good looking idols yes, but majority look to "plastic" for me and the visuals too sharp.
Hybe even if they look "fake" too, the idols still look suitable with their looks and not too much
