Maybe? They've just started. Maybe the public will be kinder to them if they re-start without Garam. The fans looks like they're not dropping their support, esp Sakura and Chaewon fans.

For the moment I don't think its affecting them much, but unless they handle the case well it could affect them

If they kick her out then easily, if not then she and the girls will get the Hyunjin and SKZ treatment in Korea.

If garam leaves they will be more than fine. If she stays, they'll be harassed every time they're mentioned in media or have a comeback. They might still do well overall but I think a lot of their growth would be hindered due to this.

In my perspective

Since the Girls just debuted i think that they will be given another Chance since it was just one Member and not the whole group, but something like that can destroy a group altogether

so it depends on how this situation will continue to be handled, How the Girls get along with eachother ( and in hopes that HYBE doesn't Get Cursed by running into more future problems beyond Garam)

so its a Waiting game from here

Then, they will be just fine in Korea, because Hyunjin and Stray Kids as a whole are still growing their fanbase, getting cfs/endorsements domestically and variety/solo or unit gigs in the same way as always

I don't think so. even looking at garam leaves a bad taste in my mouth tbh and she was one of my favorite members in lsf but now I'd rather stan another 4th gen gg than a group that might have a bully

I have the impression that the treatment they receive from the international K-pop community affects them more than pann posts, tbh. At least It's what I can judge from what they shade on bubble and write in their songs

The thing with pann and theqoo is that they hate everyone. So even if you stay as an angel in front of everyone they'll find a reason to hate on you. The comments on these sites doesn't matter in the long run and if the companies back up their idols properly during the scandals then most will likely survive.

Though SKZ has cemented their position and has gained a big and loyal fanbase who will stay with them through thick and thin, we can't say the same about Lesserafim as they have just debuted but their next comeback sales and charting will tell how much this scandal has effected them.

and as of right now the numbers for the group seem fine both from a charting perspective and an albums perspective

so therefore the key test is their next comeback

They are still climbing on multiple chart everyday and gaining new uls everyday. I honestly don't see how their image is ruined by the look of it. Maybe Kim Garem is ruined but definitely not the group.

ATM I think they would IF Kim Garam leaves the group, or if Garam's controversy comes to an end if in fact Garam is the victim as said by HYBE/Soumu.

The examples you gave have nothing to do with this case , one RV recovered because Sm handled the issue well and for G-idle the group had to take Soojin away from the group.

And for AOA and T-ara the scandal is bullying within the group .

To me the only way fro Lesserafim to continue is to either prove Grama innocence, make her apologize and to be put in hiatus ( honestly and think this tactic would work) or she gets completely removed from the group

Maybe it would be best to continue to promote without Garam.

I read the full statement minutes ago and I'm disgusted. I thought they would put this girl on hiatus and then remove her but they let it clear that she is going to come back so I'm done with them. I wish the best for the other 5 members but I don't get the stomach to deal with this girl anymore.

I really don't understand the fact that the fans of the other members aren't pressuring HYBE/SM to remove her don't they see that she is going to ruin the group's image?

I agree but it seems even many le sserafim fans dropped her or are thinking of dropping her. Most of her fansites had a strong opinion about it and if you go to their post from yesterday on twitter you see many comments saying garam out and that she has to leave the group

They are. Everyone wants her out, Garam out was trending on twitter and on no1 on kr twitter and if this continuous more measures will definitely be taken. Sakura and Chaewon who have more hardcore fans will definitely lose their shit.

Hybe isn't removing her because they believe she is not wrong. Or at least the incident wasn't completely one sided which maybe true. But it's also true that garam has school violence record. I do wonder how long the hiatus will be? Till next comeback?
