I wouldn’t think so. When I think about English language versions from SM, the majority haven’t been ballads other than D.O’s For Life:
NCT 127 - Highway to Heaven
NCT 127 - Regular
Red Velvet - Bad Boy
D.O. - Rose
SNSD - The Boys
WayV’s Love Talk and NCT 127‘s What We Talking About are more slow jams than ballads
