Winter got too much line and screentime. It might bring unnecessary hate to her.

The ending is really messy and Winter's high note is just bad.

OVerall this song is okay song. Wouldn't say it is a flop

I guess it's mainly due to a very experimental song plus MV doesn't give justice to this song.

and many users here are not a fan of these types of songs or lyrics.

I don't know if you've noticed, but its a pretty common theme here on the forum to hate on sm groups. I really don't know what it's about since all their artists are super talented. I guess people are just mad that these experimental songs are doing well and are popular.

From my POV and from what I've seen other people say, the voices are not really at fault. It's mostly the instrumental, the song structure, etc.

I don't like the song even though I like lower voices, raps and all. I just feel like Savage is utterly random, like throwing a bunch o stuff at the wall and see what sticks.

I gotta say that I agree with Winter's screen time. I have nothing against her, but it started to get a little weird to me how much screen time and lines she had compared to ningning. She still did great though.

i think a lot of people here don't like GGs rapping. I enjoyed Savage and Itzy's MITM.

The singing sections though were really fn awesome. The rap section though put me off. So not sure what to think of the overall song. At first listen I probably wouldn't play it again but I'll give it another try in a little bit.

If a song has more than a wisp of rap or sounds unexpected - whether it’s aespa or NCT or Itzy - it seems to get people feeling a kind of way on akp. Don’t worry - we had days of Sticker hate on here and it was 127’s most successful comeback.

I like the song way better than NL. The song is one some people won't vibe with, but I feel like a lot of the hate is just a reaction to a new group becoming absolutely massive in less than a year.

Shading is a norm in kpop. Just a few days ago we had a thread, I'm paraphrasing, "people who don't stan sm artists don't have taste". Some users here shade bts songs without even listening to them, they just know they suck. Ifans called knetz tasteless for letting Mago and icsm flop (and i agree lol). It's nothing out of ordinary, shading doesn't happen to your faves only, it happens to everyone

I disagree with a lot of those circumstances as well but shading shouldnt be a normal thing anyways. People just like to numb themselves or ignore, doesnt make that culture less toxic.

Savage is a very polarizing song to say the least. The singing parts were good, the rapping parts (except Giselle's first verse) left a lot to be desired. Not even the rappers' fault, just the weird and annoying song structure that made me go "what the hell is this?" The post-chorus, holy hell, just what in the flying fuck is that supposed to be.

It's a love it or hate it song I must say. I don't hate it but I don't like it either. The unbearable post-chorus dominated most of the song for my liking.

People are just expressing opinions. The thread about Sticker being awful got 10+ pages. A lot of people just don't vibe with SM's experimental songs

And yet, it is. Users on this forum including your fellow guild member do it all the time. You (as in, fellow guild members) ignore it as well, that's what others do too, ignore because it won't make a difference anyway.
