On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Pick Me Up by SUS4
SUS4 was a trio that debuted in 2015. Two of those original members left the group and were replaced for this comeback in early 2016. If you're wondering why they're SUS4 despite having only three members, it's because the fourth member is the fandom. Also this song came out like a month after Produce 101 released the Pick Me song, so I SAW WHAT YOU WERE DOING TK ENTERTAINMENT. The song is still cute though, it has an almost Christmasy sound.
Sadly this was SUS4's last comeback. Interestingly enough, Sanha (the only original member of SUS4) redebuted in a trio with Yuli (original member) and Hwilyn (member added for Pick Me Up promotions). Sadly the team disbanded after their debut. Yuli and Sanha redebuted together for a third time in a trio called Oh My Jewel, who got attention for having a white girl in the group. Sadly that group disbanded only a few months after their debut. Hwilyn was going to re-debut in Sha Sha but left the team pre-debut (but that group disbanded after their first comeback anyways). Really bad luck for the SUS4 girls. Ho[e they're doing okay now.
