Which 3rd Gen Debut Songs ACTUALLY Aged Well? (Comprehensive List Included)

Mamamoo haven't dropped their debut song from their set list in any concert I've been to or seen since their debut.

Mr. Ambiguous has aged like the finest of wines. It will never be remembered as a big hit song, but it's a super high quality funky debut single that has stood the test of time for me

I still love a lot of them. Empty, My Type, Energetic and Chase me are some of my faves.

Chase Me is my all time favorite Dreamcatcher song.

They had so much potential. I remember watching their showcases and waiting for anxiously for their debut, roller coaster was my jam.

a lot of these I actually think haven't aged well.

Like Winner's Empty and Ikon's My Type was a lot more novel when they dropped and I feel like it's only gotten blander as time has progressed. And Boombayah loses a lot of its oomph following the DDDD/Kill This Love/How You Like that Trilogy

And there's a couple where I'd just not go back to them over their immediate follow ups. Which I think applies for RV/Twice/BTS/Kard(I think Oh Na Na is their debut not Hola Hola)

There are some that I think just were on it right out the gate such as Mr Ambiguous/Whistle/Glass Bead/Congratulations

I voted, MMM, RV & Day6

I think the mature concept of MMM & RV help their discography to have a better longevity. Day6 is a rock band, rock is a genre that generally ages quite well with jazz.

It's also funny (in a good way) seeing the mature concept of Mamamoo's debut now being mentioned in a positive light, because I remember fighting tooth and nail against naysayers who accused them of seeming "too old" or "retro" during their debut era

Till this day, there is still very little songs as good in their respective genres.

It also helps that both krock and bubble pop is not being done by new groups now

Mamamoo set the bar so high for live vocals and performances, as rookies even, that I have to actively try not to compare basically any other girl groups to them when I'm watching, especially with groups lip syncing now more than ever.
