(Poll) Do you call your faves by their stage names or their real names?

When i first got into kpop, i had a really hard time learning idols' names. It was especially hard coz some fans use the stage names and some call them by their real names. And some alternate! I know my faves' now, but for some reason, i find it weird to refer to them by their real names. (It might be cuz I'm more invested in their stage personas than their real life selves.)

Sometimes I use real names, but I always use stage names for sure among people who aren't familiar with the group.

Like, I call Soul, Shota a lot. Same with Jooheon (Johooney), Changkyun (I.M), the BTS members, etc etc.

I guess Jooheon is an outlier for me. I know Joohoney is his stage name, but he called himself Jooheon in songs a lot too, so I'm used to Jooheon. I call Changkyun I.M and I always have to pause when I see people refer to Wonho as Hoseok.

I will very rarely call them by their real names unless it's for dramatic effect or in the case of Eunwoo it's to draw the same distinction he does between Cha Eunwoo and Lee Dongmin.

There are a few idols I call by their real name. One of them is Jaebeom because it's is easier than JB/Jay B/Def. and the others are I.M and The8 because their stage names are awkward and so they're Changkyun and Minghao.

The way I didn't know Doyoung was a stage name and he's one of my faves in NCT

I.M does have an awkward name! My spellchecker hates it lol

and I call Seonghwa "Seonghwa" and "my husband".

And someone might think you meant NCT Doyoung when that's how stage name but it's Kitak's real name!

Exo aren't my fav but I always thought Xiumin was his real name until recently

All of those two letter names are rough, but some of them are just awkward. Like DK and MJ are pretty normal, but I.M is awkward. I also forgot about BM because I am definitely just gonna call him Matthew.
