Deja Vu rose to #77 on the MelOn Weekly, and ISYTT has debuted now at #94 :pepe-notes:

ISYTT has just surpassed Deja Vu's debut 24h ULs, just over 60k, while Deja Vu is sitting around 70k now :pepe-notes:

ISYTT has reached a new daily peak of #88, and Deja Vu is at #72 :pepe-notes:

Judging by those comments I expected the photos to actually be similar in some identifiable way... I guess both sets do feature 5 girls with black hair. This must be what MHJ meant when she said they plagiarized NJ's hair :pepe-notes:

To be fair, didn't the bighit group which disbanded pre debut also have a yeonjun look-alike

It's pretty common in this industry to have companies debuting similar looking idols which is why mhj's argument over hair, makeup and event appearances seems pointless

Very true, a lot of companies want to try to debut their own Yeonjun these days since he's considered as the representative male visual of 4th gen. It's just funny because she's complaining about other people doing the exact same thing she's doing, and it's suspicious because ADOR has been caught sabotaging TXT at least once in the past.

Come to think of it, MOAs started suspecting possible beef between MHJ and Bang last year after ADOR sabotaged Do It Like That's MV premiere, but nothing concrete happened after that, so everyone just sort of forgot about it :/

Then this year some rumors came out that made people think that ADOR is planning to make their own TXT, complete with their own Yeonjun

And now MOAs are reminiscing about how since last year personal info about TXT kept getting leaked, and the amount of hate posting online about them increased dramatically out of nowhere. The dots are connecting :pepe-magnify:

I'm too sick for popcorn right now, but I'm seated :iconpepe:

    :ahh-bee:

With 2 more tracking hours left for the day, ISYTT is getting dangerously close to Deja Vu in the MelOn Top 100. They're at #40 and #43 right now... a pass may happen sooner than expected :eyes:

Elsewhere, ISYTT passed Deja Vu in real time on Genie again last night, and right now on Apple Music South Korea Top Songs, Deja Vu has fallen to #27 and ISYTT has risen to #28. A pass may be imminent :pepe-notes:

The prophecy has been fulfilled :pepe-pray:

You know that it's up to KOZ to decide how they spend money on BND so your take doesn't make sense

    That's exactly what I'm saying!

HYBE has plenty of money for these things, and other labels under HYBE (such as KOZ) use that money for proper artist promotions, without waiting for a track to top the charts before they start doing their damn job as a company. So if KOZ can do it for BND, and ADOR can do it for NJ, and Belift can do it for ILLIT, and Source can do it for LSFM, etc.... why can't Big Hit do it for TXT?

My "take" is that they can, they just choose not to. Which is why MOAs are upset.

Anyway ISYTT has now reached a new peak of #91 on the MelOn Daily, while Deja Vu is sitting pretty at #74 after a cumulative 20 days in the Daily Top 100 :pepe-notes:

Here's the thing: it's not viral enough for Bighit to do anything that would involve a lot of money. When you look at other b-sides that have gone viral in the last few years (Dolphin, Fate, Eve Psyche, etc.), they were already cracking millions of streams and views on social media, then they shot up the charts in Korea. This was before their respective companies decided to release special performance or music videos.

ISYTT has just barely cracked the top 100 of Melon and hasn't trended very high on Youtube's daily chart; with the opening tour date on the horizon, I doubt Bighit will spend any significant money to further promote the song. Playlisting, TV broadcasts, and radio spins require money to be spent.

Before money can be spent, board meetings have to happen to see if they have a budget and if they do, how long can they afford to push the song? They've probably invested hundreds of thousands into all aspects of the tour so ISYTT's small trending status right now isn't a priority.

If companies have the money, they usually invest when a track shows viral potential instead of waiting for it to already be viral. They'll also invest before a track shows any potential, to try to force virality. These are both things that other HYBE labels routinely do.

Hell, BND is even serving their youtube shorts dance challenges as ads just to get their recent song out there. Why is there money to do that for a track that isn't even in the MelOn Daily Top 100 right now, but there isn't money to do that sort of stuff for TXT's two tracks that are in the MelOn Daily Top 100 (one of which is in the Weekly Top 100 and is on course to possibly enter the Monthly Top 100)?
