Ok genuinely, as a 3rd gen fan, there is so many things I wonder about 2nd gen:
1. Did the Jessica scandal have any foreshadowing? Were fans able to see it coming?2. In 2013, did people look at BTS and ever think they would be that big? Was there anything hinting to it?
3. At what point did it truly shift from 2nd gen to 3rd gen?
4. What was the reaction when Twaisu debuted? Was it like newjeans debut where everyone just knows from the get go that they are gonna go big? Or was it slow and gradual?
5. Bigbang. This one hurts hard cos I became a hardcore VIP after they already went to the military. I feel like kpop fans never even talk about bigbang. They were the number 1 boy group before BTS, so why do so few people actually talk about them? I feel like even pre-seungri international fans never really took them seriously. Is this sentiment correct?
6. Winner and IKON. Why didn't they get bigger? I mean little brothers of the number 1 bg? You think they'd get the same treatment TXT, Itzy or even blackpink got, as successors of huge groups.
