INTRODUCTION

The weather comes down from scorching hot to more bearable breezes. The leaves of the trees make their transition from green to red, yellow, and orange. It’s the spooky season, everyone, the perfect time for horror movies and to dress up. Why only dress up in real life when you can dress up on ALLKPOP FORUMS and be REWARDED for it? It’s time to introduce you to the 2022 FALL/HALLOWEEN AESTHETIC COMPETITION sponsored to you by the Allkpop Staff Team.

You will be able to create a Halloween OR an Autumn/Fall themed aesthetic (which one you choose is completely up to you!)

All participants will be judged based on how well their submitted aesthetics match the theme, the quality, creativity, and cohesiveness of the aesthetic. And, of course, the personal opinions of each judge. The voting will have a little bit of weight to the final score and may influence the judge’s opinions. However, there are now stricter rules surrounding this process.

(Please DM or tag “ Rainbowlicious” in this thread that you completed your aesthetic and are ready to submit! I will save your profile photo and signature into my drive and will let you know when you are able to change your aesthetic. YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT UNTIL I GIVE YOU THE OKAY

VOTING DAY - Halloween Day

This voting thread will last for 24 hours, free for participants and non-participants. There will be stricter rules surrounding the judging and this process won’t be as powerful as before.

JUDGING DAY - November 1

Judges will have 24 hours to complete their judging! (though they are able to start as soon as the submitted aesthetics start coming in). This will also be the time I will take to put the final results together.

RESULTS ARE ANNOUNCED - November 2

Winners will be announced along with the ratings and reasonings being shared publicly! Prizes will then be distributed as followed.

JUDGING: HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each judge will give a rating out of 10 and give a short reasoning on why they gave your aesthetic this rating

All of these ratings will be added together to determine the final score out of the total possible points that you could earn

Your total possible points will be out 10x however many judges there are! (so if there are 4 judges, your score will be out of 40 points. Each judge is able to give at a possible score of 10 points.)

RULES

Please keep it related to the theme - The theme of his competition is FALL/HALLOWEEN themed. This is a big chunk of the judge's score!

Please submit to me before the deadline on October 30 - to submit, DM or mention me in this thread simply stating that you have finished. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE YOUR AESTHETIC UNTIL I GIVE YOU THE OKAY. If you do, I may end up taking your new aesthetic, thinking it's your final product.

Please no inappropriate aesthetics - This goes without saying or explanation but anything deemed by me or the judges will get you eliminated!

Make your own aesthetics - Of course, feel free to use the internet to find your gifs and images. No asking others for help will be allowed.

Do not try to sway the votes of judges - This will be reported and will get you eliminated!

Allkill Aesthetics and Badge Layouts will not count! - Though they are nice, we need to be fair to all participants without Allkill or many badges. And also because I don't really have a way of saving Allkill aesthetics and badge layouts in an orderly fashion, these are completely optional and will not count toward your score!

Be Respectful - Be respectful to every participant, user, and judge! Don't things like publically judging other's submissions, get angry at the score/justification given to you by the judges (feel free to ask questions, respectfully, though), or include any discriminatory media or wording in your aesthetic (which kind of goes into the "no inapprorpiate aesthetics" category). Remember, this is only for fun! It's no serious competition

No Voting For Yourself, Of Course - If you do, this vote will not be counted. Please vote for others!

The voting won't take as much into your final score as before, but it will be taken into judge's consideration.

1. Yep! To make it fair for everyone, the only things that will count will be the avatar and the signature. Feel free to add Allkill Aesthetics and badges, but they won't count towards your score.

2. Yep! The participants with the highest scores from public voting will be considered by judges and will be added a little bit to your weight. But it should only be for if you win the top votes, if you don't win a lot of votes, then it shouldn't count against you.

Think of it sort of like KPOP award show voting, if you're familiar with that process. I don't know if you were aware but the fan voting is actually only a very small amount of the overall score and decision. Most of it is by judge opinion, the second largest category would be its performance in different ways (streaming, charting, album sales, etc.) and the very small section, the fan voting.
