The irony here is that i'm now a Hybe shooter with Ssamkura in Lesserafrim.

But i dunno whether to shoot or to agree, Minju's last 14 months have been baffling and inexplicable to me. Is it Urban holding her back? Is it Hybe? Or is it Minju herself, maybe she's happy being an Insta model and doing her YT show with Sandara once a week (Music Core contract will end this year i think).

Why hybe though? Do they have that kind of power? Especially over an artist that isn't theirs?

Channels like MBC already had some sort of beef with HYBE so you would think that instead of blacklisting her they would throw her into MORE shows just to spite HYBE lol.

Really, I think it's a bit silly to think that HYBE has a choke hold over the whole Korean broadcasting field. We should probably consider more the idea that MAYBE Urbanworks is just a plain awful company instead? You just need to look up what happened with Kriesha Chu as an easy example.

honestly seeing how her and hyewon are handling their post izone careers makes me extra sad for kaeun and chowon. minju and hyewon clearly never cared that much for being idols. izone was just a stepping stone for other entertainment careers for them which is fair but disappointing when people that really wanted it were rigged out.

Didn't Minju want to be an actress?? I think is more difficult to get acting jobs.

Also it’s funny that she left a big offer from HYBE when she could’ve been bigger for supposedly her acting career which is going nowhere.

She doesn’t seem interest in anything so the acting industry ask even more work if she wants an acting job she needs to step her game and stand up. Because you don’t get away from getting dragged for a terrible performance even if you’re just pretty.

You must don't know how worst urban work to come up with this. Before Minju, they have Kriesha Chu that quite famous too and Yg want her but she rejected that offer and stay in urban. But, Uwe literally have one of the worst management ever for their artists. They don't have any cable or good connection in entertainment world to secure her any good acting gigs and not even good at managing her singing career. And she end up with nothing and no one even know where she's now. Now, Minju probably just become the second Kriesha if she didn't out from the company asap.

Pretty ironic how both her and Hyewon expressed their desire to act during pd48 yet non of them is having any gigs also i don't understand why Minju preferred to stay in her current company yet we all know how shitty they're when it comes to managing their acts and in regards Hybe black listing her theirs no reason for them to do this it's not she was in the company and she left on bad terms

Nah she's just in a label that sucks at managing unfortunately. I also doubt HYBE would waste time and energy blacklisting someone just because they didn't want to sign on. If every label did that to everyone they lost, 90% of the industry would be blacklisted.
