they are only group which didn't make a buzz in Korea yet as a group
Kep1er already did it because they are from GP999, so final episode of the show itself already was talked a lot
VIVIZ is GFriend sub-unit, so legacy is there, also they already 'did' GFriend songs on Q2 so there is that
Hyolyn is a Star, or should I say from SISTAR
WJSN has new year hit 'As you Wish', and 5-6 members which are/were already acting in proper quality dramas
Brave Girls had Rollin so there is that

I don't stan any of them but I like Loona and Kep1er.
I've been wanting to get into Loona since forever (but am lazy and easily distracted) and I'm planning on using the show to decide if I want become a full fledged fan or not. Based on what I've seen of all the groups pre-show Loona are my favorite performers and at the moment I'm rooting for them.
I watched GP999 and am attached to Kep1er's members but I still feel like I don't really know them as a group. Going into the competition I was the most excited to see them but that might just be GP999 hype that hasn't worn off yet. I have to see them perform before deciding if I'll root for them.

I root a little for everyone. Well, not so much for Hyolyn since I'm not super familiar with her, she's from a time before I got into kpop and most of all, I don't think she really needs the win? But it's cool to have a solo showwoman like her, unlike Park Bom in S1 who was way more limited.
I think I have a soft spot for Kep1er. I didn't follow the members during GP999 but WA DA DA made a good impression on me and their innocence and enthusiasm during Ep.1 was very enjoyable to watch. I'm not sure they should won though, it would be a bit sus.
I hope VIVIZ are gonna do well too. I'm no fan of GFriend but I appreciate that these three girls decided to continue together after disbandment. And I like that SinB unapologetically assumed the "villain" role; it makes for good TV, good entertainment.
Loona and WJSN are kinda similar to me. I like their songs or most of them, but I'm not super familar with the members so I'm willing to learn more about them and see what they can do in the context of a competition.
I'm not sure about Brave Girls though. They seemed so uneasy during Ep.1. I fear they might come out on the losing end of the competition.

None of them are my ults, but I don't dislike any either.

And I find Hyolyn very likeable too
