wonder girls had more potential than what jyp did for them and I say this as someone who doesn't listen to 2nd gen songs much
People only bring up Pristin as an excuse to shade on Pledis. I was a fan and I KNOW that they were in a rough spot and on the decline. So when people say BS like "Why were they disbanded? They were doing so well!" it's low key annoying since ya'all don't know what you're talking about.
Also kinda related but people token/pity stanning idols or groups is also annoying and cringe. The worst part is when they actually do come back or have activities, they get crickets cuz a huge chunk of their "fans" are all bark and no bite.
SNSD had some great songs and members for sure but for the most part their legacy is more talk than substance

i hate how extreme plastic surgery is becoming although i dont have anything against people who have plastic surgery. The mentality around casually rejecting what makes you unique is becoming way too common.
all kpop fans care about visuals to an extent for sure but the way such a big percentage of koreans online only and only comment on idols' looks creeps me out

Wg never had the potential that people make it seems looks like because even if they went to the us the songs they release after still did well in chart and prove that the public didn't forget them
And even without going to the us they would still release the song they released in the past and none of the songs they released were able to make them surpass snsd meaning that the songs weren't good enough for them to do this
Kpop fans need to stop overhype performance for gg because every gg who are doing well right now are gg where their talent shine through their music and listening to the cd, bp with their rap skills, aespa and rv thanks to their vocals, stayc and gidle too
Koreans never watch any gg performance besides the one who go viral or little gif so i'll never understand why some ppl make it look like performance is the biggest factor for a gg

Also I wanted to say visual positions are really important idc every time there is debate because visual position/ fotg shouldn’t exist but most of the time idols (mostly female idols) are more praised for their visuals than their talent, and the most talented are always overlooked by the prettiest members.

This girls has been so micromanaging that they sound lifeless sometimes
Some of CL's songs actually do slap like Hello Bitches and Spicy. But I can understand why some people find her corny and even annoying at times because she just refuses to allow her music and style to mature along with her age (and sometimes feel like a female Jpark with the wanna-be hephap). She could really benefit from a fresh rebranding.
