Top 10 biggest 4th gen boy groups

Cravity, Ab6ix could be top 10 behind those groups I guess
trying to think of two more.
My ranking atm would be
These two are both extremely close with each of their own strengths and weaknesses
Insane physicals for such a young rookie, leader for 4th gen bgs in japan but behind the above two digitally in korea and internationally
Again like TXT/SKZ both extremely close with their own strengths and weaknesses
6. Treasure
7. Ab6ix
8. Cravity
9.
10.
idk about the last two

X1 would be there a hundred precent if they had stayed active longer.

I will name the top 4th gen bgs in no particular order:
The boyz (I don't consider them 4th gen but since everyone else does then let's put them in here)
Then there is a huge wall between the groups above and the following groups, the following groups aren't doing that well but they're doing better than the rest.. That will change once sm, yg and bighit debut their new groups, the following ones will fall out of the ranking.
Treasure
Idk who else, let's say golden child for the sake of naming a 10th group (idk if they're 4th gen tho)

havent AB6IX stopped growing?

Put treasure in the top bit because there is a not a huge wall between them and the others..

Golden Child is 3rd.
Am I underestimating CIX?? I like them but didn't think they were doing very well.
Most people seem to agree with this top 9.

Golden Child debuted in 2017, so they're Third Generation.
So to fill out the top 10, these groups come to mind: X1, AB6IX, CIX, Cravity

Treasure has to have another comeback that surpass every other previous of theirs. There is a big gap between them and the groups in the top ranks right now as they're not leading in any category and aren't even close yet. That could change with their future comeback.

by fandom size Treasure, Ateez and The Boyz aren't that different its just their fans are coming from different places and composed of different demographs, so if u put ATEEZ and TBZ there u should put Treasure too. Or maybe make 3 tier as
First tier - SKZ, TXT, Enhypen
Second tier - ATEEZ, TBZ, Treasure

Yeah that makes more sense.

For those sales and numbers people

Debut only doesn't matter. What those groups have is good digitals, much better than treasure's. Treasure definitely have better sales but the other groups have better digitals so that put them in the same group - "doing well but not well enough to be considered a top group"

By fandom size that would be the correct ranking, yes. In my ranking though I don't consider just fandom size. I consider things like sales, digital performance (outside of korea too such as BB charts and etc), casual listeners

I really don't care about generations, I do think this is more fluid that people make it and some groups just ended up 'in between' or whatever. And those days the generations seems to be a hot topic again for some reason.
People always point out that The Boyz are not 4th gen, fine then, put them in the 3rd gen comparison threads (but no one does it? Everyone always like to use them to compare them with other 4th gen groups) - and make it as if The Boyz fans would want them to be 4th gen because they don't have 'enough achievements' or whatever.
Their success/achievements are as they are, no matter in what generation you put them, it'll stay the same and if you need to compare it's easiest to do it with groups that are currently successful, getting new fans etc, that's why everyone puts them together.
They're on the rise and most 3rd gen groups paths currently can't be compared to that (I say this as GOT7 fan), that's why everyone loves to compare them with 4th gen groups but at the same time they say they're not one.

I count them as part of NCT.

All these groups digitals are basically nothing to begin with tbh so yeah not much difference.

at the moment it's SKZ probably, but in a year it looks like it'll be ENHYPEN their sales are going up so fast. The Boyz are the most popular of them all in SK atm but they're kinda like the Block B of their time in being that one group that somehow falls between gens. Like they're not really 4th gen I guess but they aren't 3rd gen either, or at least they don't feel like a 3rd gen group. Just like Block B isn't really 2nd or 3rd gen.
-
nah, ab6ix have decent digitals at least
-
-
Yeah these days.. a good Korean fandom can get you top 10 that doesnt really mean your digitals are amazing.
nah, ab6ix have decent digitals at least
No 4th gen boy group has good digitals at all , its either fandom driven so good fast week or low 50s to 60s.
Literally strat kids have not charted on Gaon until 2021.
The boyz actually have better digitals then most of these boy groups if not all though.

ATEEZ, TBZ had just recently comebacks while Treasure is in 9 months hiatus so u really can't compare their comeback related metrics such as sales and charts. Also all these groups fans are coming from different places, for ATEEZ west, TBZ korea, Treasure Japan and SEA etc so their strengths are in different places. You can only compare their youtube content views, twitter interaction metrics etc to get the idea right now, Treasure have better youtube content views and twitter metrics than ATEEZ and TBZ so these groups are not that different in popularity.

I think Treasure isn't in a position to be compared with Cravity, AB6IX and CIX, nor with ATEEZ or The Boyz. At the moment, they have their own tier.
Because they are fairly bigger than the first 3 I mentioned, they sell like 2x more physicals, have good sales for their debut on Japan with potential to improve and have better streams even If their digitals aren't better than AB6IX's, they have more things under their name.
At the same time, The Boyz and ATEEZ are bigger than Treasure, they are selling 2x more, for example.
The thing is, the two groups I mentioned above already had 2 comebacks since the last Treasure comeback (which was basically a compilation) and they had bigger opportunities to take advance of the physical market's growth than Treasure.
So I think we need waiting to see in what position Treasure's comeback will put them. But It's better don't understimate.
