one thing ab inets is this ignorance over it girl status. Miyeon and StayC are fairly talked about on korean forums for their visuals, u just dont see it translated by pann choa or netizenbuzz bc it doesnt generate clicks from ifans.
That said, Karina, Yoon, Yuna (by extension, winter, sieun) are it girls in the making.

So I googled her and I disagree. Her face seems rather big in comparison to the other visuals plus she seems to only look good with bangs. Never seen her without. Other big 3 visuals usually don't have the block bangs like she does. Yuna's bangs were awfully done too and she looks million times better without

No simply because no 4th gen idol is an IT Girl yet, the only one who is remotely close is Wonyoung and she isn't big3. Jennie and Hwasa are the only current female idols that can hold this title. Irene was very popular at her peak too.
Karina, Chuu, Yuna and Winter are getting there tho, they're pretty popular among Korean teens. Chuu and Wonyoung are proof that you don't really need to be big3 to generate interest.
And if you think being an IT Girl is all about looks then boy do I have something to tell you....

It all just depends on how they promote her.
With STAYC, High Up Entertainment is doing pretty well promoting all members equally, visually or otherwise, because they all have their own charms.
If a big 3 company followed that same strategy, I think she would be a bit more popular, but not to the point of being an "it" girl because the other members are still being promoted on the same level.
I might be wrong, but I think SM and JYPE pushed Yoona and Suzy, respectively, with acting gigs and CF deals. Yoon would have to be given that treatment to be an it girl.

Before they debut stayC was very hype for their visuals even more than aespa and they got a lot of exposure with Asap
And J is for the moment the only one who got a cf solo
Yoon hype around her visual just decrease
Especially in korea because she doesn't fit their standard, especially her jaw line, koreans prefer V jaw line

I think Sieun is very charismatic, very cute as a performer. I love several of their songs, but when i watch them perform, i only focus on her. But even then, i wouldnt consider her a true visual.
When i say there is no visual in StayC, i'm not saying they're ugly, heaven's no. They're all perfectly attractive. It's just that my list of what i consider true visuals is very short. I mean, i'm someone that doesnt consider Tzuyu, Jennie, Winter, Sakura, Joy, Aisha, Yeji, or Ryujin visuals either
. Yuna and Karina have recently made moves but for a long while, i didnt consider them true visuals either. Jisoo i flip flop every day as well. -
