oh really
see the problem is having to go back to listen to such songs that I disliked...
I mean if you dislike something then you aren't actively going to go out of your way to try that thing again right?
if could be a person? food? song? etc...

U HAVE TASTE
LIT STOLE MY HEART SO OF COURSE

I don't know. I think it's because these songs leave an empty or weird feeling that you're curious to find what's about so you listen again to figure out and once you do suddenly everything about the song makes sense and OHHHH IT'S PERFECTION!

we'll it depends if one actually dislikes the song compared to be neutral about it...the way you're phrasing it seems like you were neutral about the song thus gave it another listen whereas I'm saying if you actually dislike the song then the need to go back to listen to it again is not there...does that make sense?

I mean... I can hate the song and still be curious about it and check again If a song is truly that bad i will just feel indifferent about it after a while and ignore it like you do. There's something about the songs i mentioned, every single one i couldn't memorize or "get" the structure at first listen which is part of why i disliked it at first and also why it got me curious.

If I can't mention my faves, it'll probably be Day6 for me.

interesting so for you it isn't necessarily that the complete song is dislikable but rather one part which you couldn't get...
if it were me i would have re-listened to the song in maybe different versions or live v studio or etc then deem it "unworthy" lol
There are probably so many songs from kpop or otherwise that I've never heard of thus if my choice was to revisit an old song which i've deemed dislikeable on first listen then why waste such time revisiting such when i can listen to a completely new and unheard song...in other words
I have limited time...I have already listened to song A which I've deemed dislikeable
so if I want to listen to a song then of the two choices of song A (which is already starting negative) v song B (which is completely new and thus neutral) - logically for me I would listen to song B since it has a higher chance of being "worthy" compared to A lol

Well there are songs i hate at first listen and don't bother checking again. It's the songs that I already memorized the structure at first because it's easy. But when I dislike the ones I don't get often is because I don't get the structure, the sense of it. So how can I truly dislike when I don't understand it yet, my friend? But your side makes sense.

uh oh are you turning into a boomer like me my friend? lol
no I get where you're coming from...so for the one's you dislike what then prompts you to go back and give them another listen? is it YT or a mention on these forums or do you just set them aside for a rainy day type thing?

Kind of 5 years until I'm 30, that's insane. I still feel and look like I'm 15.
Not really... There's just something that feels unfinished at first, second, or third listen that makes me go back. Took me literally years to appreciate Rookie, lord knows how many times I bashed this song before, but now I think it's RV's best song ever.

not my faves? OMG

hmmm...not you subscribing to the theory that once people turn 30 they become boomers? lol
well my friend the sooner you remove your badges and sig and dp and go nude like me, the sooner you reach boomerism...
