Big Bang. They didn't hit as big internationally as current groups, but that's because they debuted at the wrong time. Groups like Big Bang and SNSD would have been huge if they debuted during 3rd or 4th gen.
So yes Blackpink is the biggest group. Except in this hypothetical scenario I invented where bigbang WOULD have been bigger if they debuted now.
lol.

What question is this?
Mate, without Bigbang, YG would be a fast food company, and other groups wouldn't exist in the first place. The main reason YG groups can have a career is because of them! It doesn't matter how massive BP is now!
It's like saying: "I'm bigger than my mother." You wouldn't exist without your mother.😂

This could only ever be true if groups like SNSD actually adapted to fit international tastes, which would turn them into a completely different group. Their usual shtick would not (and didn't) work outside of East Asia. SNSD even made an English version of The Boys, one of their more western-friendly songs, and it still flopped.

Calling this a FLOP, LOL! Do your research before you talk, please!
The Boys (Girls' Generation song)
After 15 YEARS, they charted on 2 of Billboards' main charts! Without doing any PR in the US, btw! 🤣

How are we in 5th gen and still talking about a 2nd gen group that hasn't been active in years ?
It's called being Legends for a reason! That's why no one will talk about any 4th or 5th gen group after a decade!
G-Dragon just released his new song after 7 years of hiatus, and still charting better than 98% of Kpop groups.😅

Don't lie. They appeared on two US talk shows, and yes, they still flopped. Maybe they did decently by contemporary standards, but compared to the current big three, they flopped in the US.
And no, neither of those charts are Billboard's "main" charts. I shouldn't have to explain which ones are, but they both concern only the US... because it's an American chart.
