Teddy name alone seems isn't enough, and the members so far not that interesting compared to BM.

With this Comeback, NMIXX has passed 4 million album sales, you don't need to be a genius to not know that YGE and TBL would love to have NMIXX under their Labels

Babymon is a flop so far, even tho they have massive numbers on YT (thanks to YG's mad promoting), Spotify. Album sales are probably the only thing they can show so far. NMIXX will be in the shadow of TWICE till they disband, but from the two of them, I think it's obvious that NMIXX is more successful overall, mostly because they have almost 2 years of advantage.

Let's talk about them if they can pass their 5th year.

And let's be real, most people think the kitties, will be a massive success, because of Teddy and of course, now everyone is talking about that one girl who met with Blackpink. Nice PR move Teddy, btw! 😅

The fact is, he didn't release a single song that was just half as successful as any BP song or something else that he produced in his career, so I wouldn't bet too much money on his new group either! We literally don't know anything about them, if they're talented enough or not, for example. Not that it matters, but the fact is, Teddy doesn't have the same resource as YG, so their fans can say, they will end Babymon, and they're the real "Next Blackpink", if he can't promote them well enough. And based on how he promotes his other artists, I'd say, the Korean Pussycat Dolls will flop.

It's not hard to guess, Meovv will have the hit songs, and of course, the YG styling, which means BP 2.0.

They won't have the massive following from the beginning, but they will get there in a year, maybe two.

I hope Meovv becomes the real competition to NJ because then like the conglemorate’s creative minds that broke free will be directly against each other

Teddy is directly responsible for the success of YG's biggest groups.

I doubt YG without Teddy will be able to make top groups anymore. From now on, they will have to rely on being one of the big 3.

The groups won't flop, but won't get that massive following like BB e BP had.

MEOVV/BM all have a way better chance than NMIXX.

Maybe MEOVV overall bc they have already known trainees and I trust Teddy more than face filter guy who’s trying to still look young in every BM videos

Kinda surprised BM had way more hype than MEOVV rn… I thought MEOVV would have the most hype from the get go. I blame the boring teasers lol and BM had the advantage of being introduced first? I think it’ll rise when they introduce Bailey Sok.

The thing is both Meovv and baemon stans are mostly blinks, so just pray that their cbs won’t overlap with cbs of bp members or the group itself! Example is baemon’s single forever and Lisa’s Rockstar! Even though forever was better than batter up and sheesh it flopped because blinks were busy streaming and hyping Rockstar!

The YG brand value is way bigger than TBL brand value. BM is the real sister group of blackpink no matter what people feel about them. So it's not surprising that a YG gg debuting after 7 years gained way more hype than teddy group whose biggest success has always been associated with YG groups.

Lol yea but this is KPOP and you already know company name + visuals are one of the main factors in stanning a group. That's why companies usually reveal the members first before putting out any of the music. The same thing will happen with the new SM girl group.

So far, Babymonster have more pre-debut hype. Though, meovv has a chance to catch-up. GP eats up whatever Teddy releases. But ofc it will also come down to promotions. I can already see them doing dance challenges with other idols jsut like Somi and that will help for the song to be recognized. Meanwhile YG is stuck with their exclusivity image, and will put Babymonster in the dungeon away from other K-pop groups.

I voted BM, YG will promote them hard for the next 2-3 years and they are gaining momentum.

Whereas Teddy will have a habit of putting the singers on hiatus. They will be part time idols and part time social media influencers. It worked for BP but I don't see it working for this group.

NMIXX already reached their half life cycle with nothing much to show for it. Don't see them improving significantly from here. They (Lily/Haewon) might have better success going solo at this point.

Meovv will most likely release song once in a lifetime. I wonder If this strategy will pay off in the long run with so much competition.

NMixx is not a good comparison since it has been around for quite a while.

how is sheesh not bigger than LMLT?? lol sheesh peaked in top 10 of all charts while LMLT peak 4 on melon and didnt get into top 20 on other major charts like flo (which got knetz accusing them of fraudulence btw) dont even talk about spotify numbers.. Both songs are released 1 year apart and theres only 9k difference in likes on melon...The only reason nmixx sold more is bcs they have more albums, BM's debut album sold twice more than nmixx's debut album

Meovv, maybe, but I don't think they will have the same huge core fandom that Baemon will have, and are we sure that any Teddy group will release frequently enough? BP was different, being part of the YG brand.
