jisoo has big sales and flower shaping as a big hit in china while rosé has a semi hit in korea and the best selling single in china for a female soloist

In my opinion, based on TOTAL global overall numbers such as streams (all platforms) , digital, physical albums, vinyls, etc., - all receiving accolades and critical reviews, the top 3 are all BTS solo members. - SUGA, JIMIN & JIN.

There could be a shift when JK and Taehyung release their debut albums. Let's find out when that time comes.

Pretty sure Jimin has done the best and then Jin/Suga have strong physicals. I think Lisa/Jisoo/Rose all did better then RM.

Korea if were talking idols probs Jennie,Jisoo,Baekhyun.

Global its Jimin,Jisoo then dunno who else.

Not at ppl naming BP members here. Nothing against them but with discographies of like 2 songs, that's hardly a strong argument for being a successful soloist. Of course happy for yall with good sales/views numbers with a strong fanbase but cmon now

Anyways, it's definitely Chungha and Hwasa at the top. Both got hits and a legit good track record of releases, collabs, mini's and albums. 3rd place is debatable because there's a steep decline after those two.

Exactly. I don’t consider any of the blackpink girls with their 1/2 songs, soloists. Same with BTS members really. Even the rap line need more work.

Lisa got a viral song with Money and the highest monthly listeners for a soloist. Also has the most streamed solo song on Spotify

Nayeon is the best performing soloist in Japan and arguably Korea(Jennie is a contender here)

RM has the biggest album debut on Spotify and also currently the longest charting kpop soloist on bb 200

Agust D dominates Apple Music. Broken so many records there that I can’t even start. Selling out all his touring venues makes him edge out as Touring is one of the metrics I rank highly. Best selling album by a rapper and also kpop soloist on first day.

These are the top 5 I can think of for now. But I have high hopes for Jungkook and Taehyung. Without officially debuting as soloists yet they already dominate other metrics.

Rosé also has a balanced success. Both of her songs are in Top 5 of all kcharts when it was released and it went #1 in both BBGlobal200, #70 in BBH100 and the best selling female single in China.
