no, op is obviously spamming, making petitions for groups he couldn't care less about. if he did he'd buy the badge, he had time. zero people bought the badge.

don't buy it! buy it if/when fans start buying it. we have albums in the shop nobody bought, i guess this is the reason

first, op didn't even bother to read. i'm lazy to search the badge section but he's petitioned for god knows how many albums, he even petitioned today or yesterday depending on your timezone for two seventeen albums. i just checked his profile he bought NONE of the albums he petitioned. none. he obviously don't care about them, he's just bored. from now on i'm not supporting his petitions, i'm going to stop wasting akorns on them and give them to those who actually want to buy their faves' albums.

yeah but this didn't just happen for albums. He petitioned for Hwayoung (whom he doesn't like btw) and blackpink set badges despite us not releasing set badges yet much less opened up petitions for. And later petitioned for Queendom despite an active petition already happening for it before he posted his petition. And later petitioned for Power of Love without asking any carrots beforehand. Carrots were debating what album they wanted at the time, and op just made it without consideration of that.

It's fine to help out. It's great to make the fans happy, but I really think there needs to be more thought put into these. Poll the fans to make sure they are getting what they want, check to see if any petitions were made beforehand.

So maybe op is trying to help out, which is great, but it also comes off as they are petitioning for the sake of it and if they wanted to make the fans happy... they could take more time to listen to fans and maybe step back and let them petition themselves... from what I'm seeing. It's too much.

I don't have any ill will towards op at all. And I think there are good intentions behind his petitions but for members of these fandoms as well as the badge team, it's really frustrating that he hasn't been listening to us or the fandoms he petitions for and idk... I just wanted to express that. I'm hoping we can communicate better moving forward. That's all.

he should wait for actual fans to start the petitions and then support them by buying petition badges, not just randomly starting petitions he has no interest in.

I have no ideas about how to fix the not reading the rules or listening to the fandoms issues. For the duplicate petitions tho, can the OPs of the original threads ask the mods to close a dupe if we see one? And then we can tag the posters from that thread to direct them to the correct one?

yeah Rainbow actually informed op of it and posted the shop link in their Red Velvet thread. I later removed the thread myself. That's an easy fix.

Duplicate petitions honestly aren't that bad by themselves but yeah it's not an isolated incident, and when you put it next to his other petitions he made... it's just another instance of carelessness to me. So yeah, it's small, but I guess it adds to the frustration.

I'm hoping op can take that as a learning lesson and check to see petitions are made before making his own. I want to believe he has good intentions like I said but the frustration is still there.

yeah I think if the fans want badges, they will go for it. He doesn't have to do it for them every time.

I've been really careful with album badge petitions for the most part, polling everyone before hand, then making it... like it takes time but it makes more people happy I think in the long run.
