Can GIDLE maintain their success without Soojin?

I think it will affect them pretty hard too, but they'll still survive.

tbh Monsta X has been charting well in Korea since Wonho's departure, but their very strong and loud international fandom basically vanished. So I think in Korea they'll do fine, but they might lose lots of international fans.

Maybe but i doubt it, she was the most important and stand out member alongside Soyeon ofc, she was the stan attractor, and her vibe felt perfect for idle.. but to be fair the other members aren`t really slacking Miyeon is really popular among k fans, Minnie and her voice i feel are becoming the new essence of Idle, Yuqi is popular and ofc Soyeon, everything probably depends on their next song it needs to be good.

For sure, we only need Cube to maintain the group (we all know how they work).

soojin had one of the center positions in gidle and her presence was definitely needed. i think it will be rough for them. and unless they take the opportunity to even out center time between the members, i have a feeling it might just add to the 'soyeon and friends' controversy

not just that, but as a variety persona she was one of, if not the most, popular member and missing that member will affect them

i think they'll survive, but their current fast incline in popularity may slow down quite a bit

Yes and no. Soyeon is what makes a lot of idle and Miyeon lately has been attracting people on the kside but Soojin was the main stan attractor.

And with what happened here and with CLC plus cube's older problems, it might be hard to retain everything as a lot of people will trust the company even less than they already do.

They have so many stand out members, Soyeon, Miyeon, Yuqi, Minnie, I think the group will survive. Sure Soojin leaving the group will affect their popularity negatively but even if she'd have stayed it'd have affected them badly so it was a lose-lose situation from both sides

i believe they can. soojin was a huge part but they are lucky to have other standout members ESPECIALLY soyeon, miyeon and yuqi. i reckon if either one of those three left (well obviously soyeon mostly because she produces their songs) it would've tanked them way way way more. anyway kind of off track there but i am very sure gidle will be able to continue to float their boat without soojin.

Same. For me all the members are interesting especially Soyeon. I’m gonna miss Soojin but I believe in the girls. The only problem is how Cube gonna move them forward. And how it affects their fandom. Their momentum stopped because of this thing with Soojin, there has to be fans who left the fandom.

Habin's case was more severe he was the leader, main producer, composer and even choreographer to certain extent.

Maybe they'll put Miyeon and Minnie in the center. They will manage probably. Soyeon's stage charisma is enough anyway. I think the other members are pretty good, though not as charismatic as Soyeon.

Yuqi popularity in China is rapidly increase. So no, gidle will not effected by her leaving news.

They'll definitely be more boring on stage she was their stage presence tbh
