What boy group is leading 4th generation

I'd say TXT/Stray Kids(tied) are the definite leaders as of right now. ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, Treasure, The Boyz(in no definite order) would all fill up the rest of the top 5.
P.S: I'm interested to see how well SKZ upcoming comeback will do and if Kingdom will have any significant effect on their charting and album sales.

isn’t enhypen getting more sales and doing better in Japan and Korea charts

If you're referring to TXT then no, that was a lie told by that floppy troll. TXT do much better in Korean charts and TXT sell much better in Japan.
If you're referring to Stray Kids then whoops, I assumed you were referring to international + Korean performance. If we're talking strictly Korean then it's TXT > The Boyz > the rest until further notice.

If Stays show up for them the way they do on Twitter, it's gonna be crazy. They were trending everywhere when the Mixtape dropped. Hyunjin coming back is gonna have everyone hyped.

I can't say between TXT or Stray Kids. Maybe we will have the answer soon or maybe they will continue to lead together or maybe one will lead alone, which is totally fine too.
I mean, TXT has an advantage at the moment, because they already did two comebacks since Stray Kids last comeback, they already have their opportunity to show how successful and promising to become a top group they are and how we shouldn't underestimate them. I don't know too much about them, so I will let this space for their fans.
Until Stray Kids comeback they will have a 11 months hiatus since their last comeback, which was a repackage. And 1 year and 2 months since their last main comeback, with a standard album. Between mid 2020 and now a lot of things happened to help them growing stronger and we didn't have the opportunity to completely see for what they've come since they blew in popularity 1 year ago. Historically, repackages are not the best mensure of a group's full potential and still, It's their most successful physical release.
For anyone interested, since Stray Kids didn't comeback since last year, STAYs having been paying attention to their catalogue. They were the best selling JYP act in Gaon on 1st Quarter. At the moment, their catalogue already sold 300k on Gaon this year. They also are on Top 10 best selling K-pop acts on Oricon with around 90k copies, being the only one there who doesn't have a korean nor a japanese release in 2021. On Spotify, even If you ignore 'Going Dumb', 'Wolfgang' and 'OH' they have almost 400 million streams on the plataform this year only with their catalogue, the best performance for a 4th gen group. They also have the most viewed 4th generation bg MV on YouTube this year with a 2020 release. As said before in the thread, their social engagement is also really strong.
And I forgot to say, so I'm editing. 'Wolfgang' is their best charting song on domestic charts even through Queendom/Road To Kingdom/Kingdom aren't the best way to define a group's domestic real potential, even If a group is sucessful with korean gp. So we should pay attention to the future.
So as you can see, they shouldn't be underestimated either, even through a lot of people like to pretend they don't exist.

TXT sell much better in Japan.
No enhypen sales are better in japan. Check your facts first before saying anything. Enhypen korean album is the best selling 4th gen korean album in japan. They are having a Japanese album which is definitely gonna sell better than txt Japanese album.

Still they outsold txt best selling album in japan.

There's no leader yet since their achievements are too close and there's no group that's leading every metric, but for now it seems like it's going to be between txt or stray kids

TXT and SKZ followed by EN-, since TXT have a comeback for the year and do better in Korea and Japan I think its fair to say they have a small lead rn. EN- has easily outsold others like TBZ and ATZ and they are already heavy hitters in Japan, TBZ has second best korean charting, 4th best sales, and grew internationally from Kingdom so their next comeback will be interesting. Top 5 rn i would say are
1. TXT
2. SKZ
5. Ateez

I predict SKZ’ next comeback is going to be absolutely massive.
I couldn’t call it between them and TXT, to be honest.
They are both well-deserved leaders, though.

This generation reminds me of the golden age of kpop where groups like Nuest, Beast, Supernova, teentop, Bap, MBlaQ had hits. For this generation the winner will be the group that can last and break the achievements of BTS. I'm excited about how Ateez and SKZ show their faces for kpop, it's not for nothing that their songs get a lot of views on YouTube.

well most like the hype that is YouTube and physical sales because it indicates the growth of fans.
-
-
For the majority who follow kpop, it is advisable not to trust Spotify and YouTube as an indicator of success. The reliable thing is to see if the groups can plot on the charts lists
