Blackpink earns way more money than NCT. Album sales don't bring money in like endorsements and tv shows. One probably has less than 50% profit margin and the other one is just pure profit.

cf, concerts, endorsements, fashion gig all earn money way more than physical albums.

Physical albums require production costs, delivery costs, custom charges etc, at the end of it, the profit generated is not that big.

Blackpink also has more digital downloads and way more streams. Without all the production costs and process, digital album downloads, using the US standards, shld earn the same as physical albums

If physical sales is everything, all ggs shld just retire. Even rookie bgs sell more than top ggs nowadays. Theres a reason why kpop companies still debut ggs.

Each unit releases their own album and also have their own concerts. The album/ promotions with the whole group only happen every other year

NCT Dream just made a comeback and they only have 7 members. So they are doing fine

plus, BP the members themselves probably get a higher shares of income than NCT (more members, SM takes more shares)
