I will just count 2024 but I started listening to XG this year and my entire top 10 would be them lol. It's hard to even choose...
1. Cosmic - It has to be #1 because I've listened to it more than every other song and its not even close. The Its Live as well, Wendy's end bridge will forever live in my head rent free
4. Stuck in The Middle - Babymonster
6. Something Ain't Right - XG
7. Forever - Babymonster
8. Accendio

cosmic is the best korean song released this year in my opinion. and definitly my favorite. cosmic or supernova. i just wished the concept and artwork was better because it's just a waste of this gem song.
also xg have been delivering insane bops since they debuted, specially with shooting star/left right and this year woke up/something ain't right.
they are just exeptional. better than many american female rappers even. it's crazy that they aren't more pushed. their songs this year have been phenomenal. and they should have already went mega viral with left right. i don't understand how it's not happening

Idk how XG is not bigger it just doesn't even make sense. If Left Right was released by a big4 group it would've broke the internet. And imo no other group could pull off a full rap song like they did in Woke Up. Then they come with Something Aint Right which is quite different from most of their songs but still a massive bop. - "Love Attack" by RESCENE: Link - The winners of the summer war. If K-pop fans had any taste, this would have more than the 5.7 million views it has now. Thankfully, others here have already listed this song.
- "The flowers swayed" by MIMIIROSE: Link - Just a good song. Nothing much to say here. A bop just bops.
- "Roll Up" by BLACKSWAN: Link - There are big 4 girl groups that are trying to make this sound but can't. What are some of these producers doing?
- "Run For Roses" by NMIXX: Link - One of, if not the best, big company release in 2024. How the larger K-pop audience does not yet notice NMIXX will never be known. "O.O" was not that bad.
- "Way Out" by Celestial Squad: Link - Imagine a J-pop song, the boppiest of bops, but in Korean. You have this song.
- "PUNK HOT" by 1CHU: Link - Duos are groups.
- "Classified" by OH MY GIRL: Link - We've not forgotten about OH MY GIRL, right?
- "HURRICANE" by BADVILLAIN: Link - Notice this group already. This is better than "BADVILLAIN."
- "I GOT YOU" by TWICE: Link - How are TWICE songs, when they are 90% are into soloist runs, in the top ten of a Gen 4/Gen5 era? Come on now.
- "POSSE UP!" by YOUNG POSSE: Link - K-pop drill rap is here before the top tier groups.
2024 is the year of nugus and mid tiers running all over the top tier. These groups getting no attention while the top tier becoming millionaires is the definition of big group privilege.
