If u had to reduce Twice to only 5 members which members would u keep?

Jihyo, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Sana, Mina (or Momo)

Jihyo: leader, main vocal

Nayeon: lead vocal, lead dancer, fotg

Sana: vocalist, lead dancer, visual

Momo: main dancer, lead rapper, vocalist

Chaeyoung: main rapper, vocalist

Nayeon, Jihyo, Sana, Momo, Jeongyeon

Jihyo (leader, main vocalist), Momo (Main Dancer), Chaeyoung (Main Rapper), Tzuyu (Maknae, Visual), Sana (Lead Dancer, Visual). I started my selection with Nayeon but I'd be lying if I said I would scrap any of these five.

3 are easy. Jihyo, Momo, Nayeon

You need 1 to rap, Chaeyoung is the better one, but Dahyun is who I would pick.

Then Sana or Mina for the last spot, is hard to not pick Sana.

Many ppl are confused between Momo and Chaeyoung but imo, TWICE need a main dancer more than main rapper. Chaeyoung's strong points are her songwriting credits but Momo wrote the most popular TWICE and MiSaMo bsides, Love Foolish and Funny Valentine. Chaeyoung has more credits but Momo's songs tend to do better.

Tzuyu and Dahyun were among the most popular members during 2015-18 but nosedived in popularity in recent years esp Dahyun. She can still regain her popularity in Korea if JYPE lets her promote in variety shows again but I don't see it happening until they are on tour which will go on till like July and by then, Jennie and other 4th gen idols like Yujin and Karina would have established themselves in variety shows so its unlikely Dahyun will get offers from popular PDs.

Imo, Jeongyeon and Mina are the only dispensable members in TWICE. Jeongyeon was only there for vocals but she doesn't get any lines and Mina doesn't stand out in anything.

Hard decision, Sana and Momo were the only 100% in for me.

Ended up choosing Nayeon ,Tzuyu, and Chaeyoung for the five.

lol you give waaay too much credit for lyrics. Twice Bsides are more popular oversea and do you really think these people who doesn't even understand Korean to care about the lyrics of these songs? Tbh, the only one I give credit for songwriting is Jihyo who contributed in composing some decent melodies and not just lyrics.

Jihyo - because she is the most experienced and well-rounded member, has great vocals and stage presence and we need her as a leader.

Momo - for her dancing skills and because she is my bias.

Sana - for her adorable and entertaining personality on variety, great dancer too.

Nayeon - for the extra vocals, and to have our center.

Tzuyu - because I am in love with her and I refuse to ever let her go.

I chose Nayeon Sana Momo Jihyo and Tzuyu and that was the result too haha

Nayeon and Jihyo don't need any explanation

Sana and Tzuyu are decent and they are the second pair that always get the most lines

Momo as the main dancer and rapper

Chaeyoung and esp Dahyun were not needed at all, both overrated with very weak vocals, they should be thankful to piggy back off other members' backs.
