How does Baby Monster have more debut hype than Nwjns/Lsrfm and Nmixx?

Would it have some connection to Blackpink?

well they are blackpink's sister group it's expected and people have been waiting for them to debut for years

I don't agree treasure fans get support from Yg stans ( vips , winner stans and ikon stans to some degree ) YG stans support treasure more than blackpink. I think what they meant is that the general public don't favor YG boy groups anymore like they used to which is true.

The support you are seeing from baby monster is mostly from blinks lol and probably multi fans

For LE SSERAFIM, I would say the hype was pretty good though the whole garam thing kind of killed some of it.

And baemon(I refuse to call those girls baby monsters, they deserve better) are YG's first gg in 6/7 years. Ofcourse there's going to be a lot of hype.

Not to mention they have the tag of blackpink with them, the biggest kpop gg there ever was.

Why newjeans or LSRF don’t have the huge hype like Baby Monster or aespa?

1. There’s not many Hybe stans as there are YG stans and SM stans. Huge number of ARMY really don’t care about other acts or even kpop.

2. For BM and aespa - the labels used their seniors to promote them predebut. No one in Hybe promotes anyone predebut.

So now you know, majority of stans for other Hybe groups are not built in label stans like other Big 3 labels (yes including JYP because I still remember how huge NMixx’s predebut album sales BEFORE anyone knows anything about them or hear them sing).

And now you know!

Don’t play dense. Nj before début had like 4 fans they popped out of nowhere.

Until now LSR wasn’t even hyped like a BTS sister group it was thanks to Sakura and Chaewon.

It's not just about their success but their perception, they would be both be seen as being good in all categories of music, dance / performance, members, (+Rapping for Baemon, something NJ doesn't have).
