Thanks, Ves! Making badges really made me appreciate what you do even more. It's wonderful and fun to make them and to learn about different groups and find fun things, but it's all well and good when it's your faves and you know the fandom, but boy, is it scary and stressful to (not stressful in the sense of rl, y'all know what I mean here) because you want so much to get it right and have everyone love them. Some folks give really detailed notes (thanks Nevvies!) and others are much much looser so you can feel like you're flying blind other than the research you might do on tumblr or twt for most gif-ed moments. You don't want to screw up a badge for a fandom.
Along the way, you're also having to make editorial decisions for time and space because there is a limit on content, as well as aesthetic flow, look and feel and what actually crops well into that square badge space.
I appreciate the work you and everyone on the [group]Content Crew[/group] does on animated and static badges!

Hmm...I have to say I love really aesthetic badges. So my fave badges are more about the aesthetics a lot of times.
I really love the Jaehyun MV sets - they are not only my fave badges but my faves that I've made. Both of his MVs are so extraordinarily aesthetic with really simple clean shots and framing. Of course he is a beautiful man, but the way the MVs are shot are just beautifully when you take them apart. (I think of badge making as taking something apart and putting it back together.) There are lots of small beats and gorgeous shots, in contrast to the hectic combinations in the average "action" MV. I'm also just personally pleased with myself for being able to match the behind the scenes shots to the MV shots to make these pretty seamless when the colors required a lot of work.
I also really like these sets for telling a little bit of a story of him growing as an artist and person.
The first set is young Jaehyun - softer, more playful (he's 20 here).
The second set is older Jaehyun - more confident, still playful (he's 25 in those).
For other badges aside from these sets -
from the badges I've made, I like quite a lot, but these are my current top 5:
Pink Venom - just a really striking, well-shot MV.
Oddinary Trailer - one of my first badges but I really love it - it's striking and tells a story.
Ive Summer - again an aesthetic mood
Winter Bear - also an aesthetic mood
This is completely different but I loved this - it was so cute!

This is a very cinematic MV and I loved the way Ves broke these up into multiple small moments to preserve the beautiful shots - Ves
I loved the FMR badges CITY made even though I only kept the Seulgi. She's so talented! I know she handprinted in a lot of the details here digitally, esp on the main badge with the strawberries at the end
another one that's about mood and aesthetic that suits the song and dance - from City. I remember taking a look at this one to help get it under size and talking about things she could cut, but she was determined to keep in many elements that just make this a stunning badge.

It was VERY hard for me to narrow things down since I would never release a badge I wasn't proud of. I love all the ones you posted too!
Aside, yes Peaches was soooo hard. I originally thought I could split it into 3-5 after watching it and I ended up unable to go below 8... But I never regretted it. I would have rued the day I cut it into less than that if I had. I know fellow badge makers will understand!

I thought it really suited Peaches because the different badges suit different moods. A lot of times when you take badges apart, you think man I like this grouping a lot, but I either don't want it to get cut up by the actual MV (like against a choreo shot) or really just want it as a standalone thing. -
