Yes, I think they have are catchy songs and I think the girls are pretty so idk what they're missing for public taste. Maybe they aren't getting good promotion? I remember Flash dropped out of nowhere.

Idk about Woollim being a "strong mid company", nowadays Golden Child has to be the only group making some money in that company and it's not like they move crazy numbers either, Drippin' doesn't seem promising and Rocket Punch is pretty much on the fence since debut (selling around 20k). Their groups are doing what they can to survive with limited resources tbh.

Can't say I'm surprised but they should have waited for Chaewon and Eunbi to finish Produce, and then if they wanted a JP trainee, should have gone after Miu instead. Juri doesn't really seem to fit in the group.

I feel bad for them, they make solid music, in fact the whole company has released some gems including one from Golden Child and like four from Eunbi, but the company seems to have the worst luck.

Golden Child, I thought they were breaking through with their Gamechanger album last year, which sold 150k. But then i dont remember hearing about them at all for like a year, then they released another album a few months ago but i dont think it even broke 50k on Gaon.

Drippin is also going backwards in terms of album sales and Rocket Punch just cant seem to breakthrough.

Eunbi is the only reliable seller, staying between 40-50k on Hanteo, and the only one with any visibility it seems like in terms of appearing on Kpop related variety, radio, etc.

Juri switching from AKB48 to Rocket Punch was such a mistake and downgrade for her...

I think because hype died down considerably when they realised the 'Itzy' song Bouncy and they never recovered from that.

I agree with some other people Bim Bam Bum their debut is a good song

And in my opinion, after that, they've never had another song that is as immediately likeable or shows their unique brand as strongly.

I liked Bouncy and I feel like Bouncy is #2 in uniqueness of their title tracks. Everything after that for me sounds a bit generic (Juicy, Ring Ring, Chiquita, Flash) and like it can be done by any other K-pop group.

I feel like they're similar to Cherry Bullet because they started out with colorful and bright, cheesy concepts, but as they make their music more "mature", their brand is getting more blurred/ambiguous and less unique.
