Obviously NMIXX still has a lot of time to define itself, but so far the group concept seems to be a carbon copy of Itzy. When you listen to DICE your first thought is, "is this an Itzy song"?
Apart from the unusual melody switch up, I don't know what makes NMIXX's concept unique. Seems like they're going for strong visual, dance-focused, big-energy songs, where vocals aren't prioritized... which sounds just like Itzy... even the styling in DICE is something Itzy would come out with
This isn't a criticism on either group, I just don't see JYP's vision with NMIXX, and it's a shame because they have the ability to be different - especially with someone as talented as Lily. Really questioning the decision to debut a new group that's so similar to an existing group, especially in the current GG scene
