I was thinking about this after seeing someone post on one of fdblink 's "Twice, Once a Day" threads something to the effect of "I like this song, but I don't know that I'd rank it above any of their other songs." And I thought that was an interesting way to think about it, because it's easy to say "this song is a 10!" when considered on its own, but against the others, would I rank it there again?
So I thought it'd be fun to consider your fave's titles (or all their songs if they don't have many) in roughly these buckets:
It's without regard to how you think it fits relative to any other group or charting success, etc. Just, on its own, did you like it? Is it top tier? Was it just okay? I thought limiting it to five buckets would make it a bit easier because you can stick a few that are really six in one hand, half a dozen in the other into the same bucket.
And thanks for playing along. It's interesting to see people's thoughts once they segment them out, even just a tiny bit.
