1) The taste of international KPOP fans usually reflects which groups are most popular...so Nayeon & Jennie being on top isn't a surprise seeing they're the biggest GGs right now. Unlike the local list where lesser known groups like WJSN and LOONA feature prominently and more popular groups like BP aren't as popular

2) Adding onto that it's interesting to see which members of which groups are more popular among Kfans vs Ifans. For example, based on this list Jennie is the most popular BP member among Ifans yet on the local list Rose is the most popular. Meanwhile someone like Karina is the most popular aespa member among both Kfans & Ifans

And it seems like if you've actually voiced support for the LGBT community you'll rank higher. I think this is a big reason why Yunjin is so popular despite her debuting a few months ago.

I did expect acts who are known to be pretty popular among queer shes/theys KPOP fans to rank higher like...Moonbyul for example, but that shows that AKP isn't a really good way of determining stuff like this since there are only really like 20 people participating kdsgjkgh

Yeah, that's sort of what I was thinking too, especially with regard to your first point. The top two on the Korean ranking (Seola/Bona) are basically non-factors here. Perhaps even more unexpected was how poorly Red Velvet members did, even though the group is one of the most popular on AKP.

I was also a bit surprised at the sheer variety of names that were listed.
