Bahiyyih was confirmed to be a participant in Girls Planet 999 through a news article from Daum News released on July 2, 2021. Her profile was dropped on July 17. The show premiered on August 6 and lasted until October 22. She made it the final episode at rank #2, allowing her to join Kep1er.
