I really hope thereโs someone from their team thatโs already going back to the board and thinking of another meaning to MIXX. Because saying that Avante Garde pop is unique to them is NOT it. I would expect this kind of audacity from SM, but never JYP damn.
Like imagine that the whole meaning of your group name is the concept of your song styles and claiming it as uniquely yours? Thatโs so embarassing.

The difference is that Stray Kids genuinely built a distinctive sound and identity for the group. And already brought something fresh and new, such as Psytrance genre, which was only used outside K-pop before them.

Of course, this isn't a JYPE's merit, since they are the ones being the only writers of the majority of their music and the main producers of their songs. So they shouldn't even be brought here

SM used this styles with IGAB and Next level. JYP, is finally giving it a name and using it for their new Girl group, which is very cool, I like the idea. Good luck to them.

It can be fun if the mix genre is made with better quality. For example: I Got A Boy song is one of my favourites.
Not everyone likes this style. Ear familiarity is difficult at first listen, I think in mix genre. I think SM does a better job with this kind of experimental music. 
Jyp just started now mixing music in this style in their group. Maybe they'll figure out what points they didn't do well with the song, until their next CB.
