There are a lot of groups with arguably the same concept, who can you see branching out and becoming more popular and what groups can you see staying at the same level? personally, I see EverGlow, Aespa, and YG NGG being the girl groups that rule over 4th gen and NCT and treasure ruling over 4th gen, also SM NBG (if they debut with a good song and concept). The group I can see staying at the same popularity level is Stray Kids. (This doesn't mean anything bad I just think they will stay at the same popularity level in SK)

Mostly because they haven't really grown in SK. Internationally they are popular but I don't see them getting any bigger.

they have grown this year tho, they have even recognized for creating "mala taste" genre. Now Kingdom will definitely give them exposure.
The Boyz hasn't been charting in SK but after RTK they have begun to chart. -

I never denied that tho. All I said is that TBZ/SVT have something in common in the sense that I-fans underestimate their popularity until they start outselling their faves.

no one has underestimated them tho. They have gained popularity internationally & domestically due to RTK and since then so much people are talking about them. They have excluded from 4th gen talk for a some time cuz some consider them 3rd gen.

We won't know but I dont think YG is stupid to debut anything Girl crush related with BP fans around, they will destroy YGNGG before any music is released. Hypothetically if YG did that then they will be directly competing with BP, Unless BP were to disband which will then further the hate for YG and the new GG. The smartest thing to do is do a 180 and leave no comparison other than being from the same company, and proof to that is the fact YG has always wanted a big girl group similar to SNSD and twice. If that happens I doubt most blinks will support them which means the girls will need to start gaining loyal fans from the grounds and not hope BP fans can support them as well!

My theory is YGngg is coming 2022 and YG is going to push BP into solo activities more and more but slowly, and then YGNgg debuts with a multi concept so very diverse and all rounding, almost similar to RV but with more members.
Either way there's going to be backlash and a lot of unhappy fans but thats inventible.

YG is stupid. They have once debuted two boygroups only 1 year after each other. And the fans were fighting each other.

Logic shows either debut the girls and make them so different from BP hate can't be strong or push BP to solo activities and a year later bring in the new girls so people are use to BP solo's already

I feel like many of the most successful 4th gen groups haven't even debuted yet. We're in the beginning of the 4th gen and we have companies like sm, yg, bighit that are yet to debut one new boy group and girl group (scratch yg from the boy group one, he already has treasure). But based on the current groups out there, I see txt dominating for a while. Nobody is saying enhypen which is surprising to me as they had the strongest debut for 4th gen boy groups (based on charts, sales and records) besides txt but that's fine, I'd love to see them surprise everyone as they get to the top 😏

BGs:
TXT: They are probably the most unique BG in the Kpop market atm in both sound and concept as the only magical/cute (that is bearable to international fans as well) BG which gives them a very huge advantage over the other 4th gen BG's. They also have the most GP friendly sound out of all the groups but also don't stray away of experimenting either.
Stray Kids: They are the leader in more hard sounds of the 4th gen and have been very consistent in their sounds.
Other BGs I think might become top dog but are harder to predict: Ateez and Enhypen (they just debuted)
Can't predict for GG's since BH and YGE still need to debut theirs.

Only by current stats, TXT. charting on #25 BB 200, the highest digital among 4th gen BG in SK, dominating 4th gen in physical sales both on gaon and oricon, decent Spotify numbers etc.
But idk the future, some groups might surpassed their achievements later and become no 1
but BTS, NCT, SVT, BP, Twice still exist so.... Still far from that.For GG, G-Idle and Itzy still dominating. I want to add Iz*one but....
Aespa has potential but idk their physical sales.
