I'm doing pretty good! I'm a freshman and high school can kinda kick my ass sometimes, but it's been pretty managable. wbu?
What have you been up to?
not much lol. School I guess. My swimming schedule's also gotten a lot busier
Long time no see bumble
I understand, kpop is boring without exo
Yeah I know, sorry
you're not wrong there haesoo
bumble!
hiya, how are you doing?
How do you expect a girl group that doesn't chart to sell albums? It is the songs that put you out there, make you known to public, not album sales. GGs without digital charting are losing out on CFs, invitations and etc. You have no idea how things work.
You make groups chart better by choosing better songs, according to multiple people not juat songs you like, which is what JYP does.
Meh. Kpop's getting more international these days, and fandom based girl groups are becoming more common. And you don't need Korean digital charts to sell albums lol, look at all of the recent boy groups.
Better songs? What's the metric for that? And do your "multiple people" really predict what the trends of the public will be? I'm not saying knowing the game is impossible, but it ain't easy.
absolutely no idea what group you're referencing, but several things:
1) How do you magically make a group chart better? Change their songs? It's not a super easy fix lol. Popularity is fickly, and hard to master
2) Charts ain't everything, especially not the charts of 1 country. Plus digital streaming makes you no money. Tours, merch, and by extension your fandom is probably the best way to make cash.
Oh wow bumble long time no see
yep
Depends. If the group has say, 9+ members, that's fine. Especially if its not a pattern. It is a little less acceptable when it's a pattern, however I wouldn't be too mad, especially since dancing or variety skill leads to having the spotlight in other areas.
Now, if it was a 4 member group, and a pattern, then no, that's too extreme. I'm sure there are better ways.
No. People are put into kpop groups for different reasons, and it's unfair to make them try and sing on par with the best members of their group. Plus kpop groups tend to dabble a bit with genres, so some people's voices will naturally be more suited to one song or another.
Although I do think people with subpar voices should at least be trying to get better. Kpop schedules are quite busy, however singing is still an important skill for a member of a music group to have.
I promise I'll check most of these out tomorrow it's getting late where I live
