If SM keeps up this starvation method 
Obviously probably not to the extent of BP's but you know what they say......once the chicken has nothing to eat it will start eating itself. And so far when it comes to reality content, Vlives & fan stuff in general aespa are kinda lacking in that department.
What do you think?

Maybe but it would definitely help. Just look at BP, they have very little content as a group & more content as solo acts so they have a huge akgae problem as a result. As opposed to a group like TWICE, who have a few loud Tzuyu stans but aside from that are pretty much fine when it comes to akgae/solo stan problems because of the amount of content they get + JYP prioritizes the OT9 image.
Actually I realized the same thing for ITZY a while back but the issue has improved overtime imo. Mostly because no one cares about who owned which era or whatnot but that's a story for a different time ig.
That’s prob what sm is hoping for. All their latest groups like nct or Exo (not rv lol) have an akgae problem too. Big fanbase in China automatically means lot of solo stans.
They will fight over who contributes the most to the group in sales, which means more potential cash for sm. I think bp solo stans do this shit too.
Will never get to the problem of bp though, that shit is a whole nother can to open. And I’m sure if mys band together they can shut them up. Don’t do what blinks did, we let them live in their delusion and now they think they r the shit

also they already have a huge akgae problem, K- C akges and W-C akgaes basically fought with each other, NN-akges fight with W-akgaes over the main vocal thing which a lot of Kfans think should be Winter, Giselle fans are generally chill.
Sadly when Giselle gets 2 seconds like she just did in the Aespa ad, no one does anything.
Karina already has a lot of solo stans...
I hope it doesn't become a major problem where solo stans are constantly fighting on who's the better member or that one member is getting better treatment than another...

Yeah, I see what you mean. I've seen people say that aespa with Karina is another "X and Friends" situation. No hate to anyone here but I've seen Cha Eunwoo with Astro and Suzy with MissA, etc. like this.
I personally don't like this term because I think that every member brings something to the table. But that's what people are saying nowadays.
Admittedly the akgae problem is already bad -- it even reached my insta feed just unironically. I'm pretty insulated from that kind of stuff despite being a kpop stan so if I experience something first hand --- its baaaaaaaaad
Particularly, Giselle has been particularly in dire straits as a result ( of that one event involving a racially loaded word.) because it (despite being a proper concern) gave a lot of haters to unload on her. WinRia has large solo stan-base and ningning has her dedicated fans but giselle seems to be lacking a solo base and therefore opens her up directly to solo stans.
Group stans are a moderating factor but the internet is a network, not a room. There are isolated places brewing some pretty nasty stuff.
The difference though is that Suzy was by far the most popular member of Miss A to the point where not that many people cared for the others. And as a result she'd get more push. Same with Eunwoo & Hyuna.
I think people are throwing around this term too lightly. I'd argue that Karina isn't even the most popular member lol, Winter is coming for her neck. Ningning, Winter and Karina all have pretty high views for their fancams & their tweets get good engagement. Unfortunately it seems like Giselle isn't nearly as loved but she gets her fair share of attention too.
I don't think the X and friends term applies to any 4th gen group yet.

Maybe it's just me but it's starting to look like akgaes are becoming more and more of a problem with most groups. More solo stans too.
If I recall correctly, Blackpink had lots of fan content and even a show (?) and variety apparences in their early years so I don't really get the comparisons with Aespa.
If you're here for the music and performances then there's no starvation to speak of with Aespa, they had 4 promotional cycles within their first year. but if you're here for the fan content then, yeah, Aespa isn't about that life yet.

actually ningning has fair share of akgaes too although not as big as winter and karina. When winter was selected in GOT the beat, her akgaes complained and criticizing the choice of choosing winter over her + comparing the treatment between the members hence the spreadsheets 
Basically all of them have akgaes but winter and karina have more infighting between their akgaes. Sometimes it gets worse when big account gave likes to the comments which shades the members not their faves

Sm put decent aespa contect, they even have bubble, u won't have to stream aespa blogs to 88mv views just to get nothing, there is no point of comparison
only Karina and winter have an akgae problem and it’s not even remotely close to BP situation at all.
And aespa are really active since BP released their last album aespa has released 5 M/V and has already a mini album with 6 songs.
People are saying aespa have no contents but I think RV have the same problem SMGG don’t have a lot of contents I think but that’s not the same case as BP. So.

Ok? Just because they aren't starving in the dungeon like BP doesn't mean they're not being hindered of their full potential. To date they only have 1 Vlive, barely any covers, NO reality show, etc, etc.
Even for Next Level, they went on like 4 music shows for it & that was the end of it.
Just look at the amount of content groups like IVE & ITZY get and compare them to aespa, there's a huge difference.
