but I do think companies have a look they prefer, doesn't mean those people look like clones. That said PS and similar styling make a difference too, obviously that's more prevalent in the same company. But I mean people said about TXT before they debuted how they looked so much like BTS and they just...don't. At all. People always try to find comparisons between pre-debut trainees and established groups for some reason, probably to hype them up.

as for the topic; personally, i had trouble telling taehyun and beomgyu apart, and it took me almost a year to tell jongwon and sunoo apart, they are really, really similar

those trainees look like some members in txt and enhyphen. i can see it.

1. those don't come around often. so it makes sense. also skz were never advertised at got7's little brother group the way txt was advertised that way for BTS.

2. hybe groups are the punching bags for other k-pop stans. it's been this way ever since BTS started being on the rise when people loved bashing bighit. it's the same deal now, there are just more people to pick on.

Also more Leo picture because the boy looks different from Yeonjun. That one picture was shockingly similar to me too but that was one of the first picture they posted. I don’t think I seen him looking like Yeonjun in any other picture.

He looks 15 on the first pic but it’s not that old, plus this is the most usable front view picture I could find.
