Stray Kids' interview on Zach Sang Show: talk about NOEASY, Christmas EveL, KINGDOM, details of their creative process, self-producing, musical identity and ideas/inspirations!

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Changbin came up with NOEASY's album title and the word-play no easy/noisy;
• NOEASY is an album that represents themselves as individuals and as a group;
• Chan said they need to create their own music to feel better with themselves and to feel they are doing something genuine. That's why they've been working on it since pre debut;
• They were thinking about what they could write about Christmas on "Christmas EveL" and Changbin came up with the idea they could talk about the negative side of Christmas and Holiday Season, because It can be difficult for a lot of people;
• Seungmin said they released Domino english version as a gift for their international fans;
• Zach complimented them saying It wad the weirdest and most unique Christmas Song he's ever listened and Chan said since the beginning they wanted to do something different;
• Chan said before God's Menu they were unsure about what was their musical identity and style, but after they create it, they finally found their path;
• Chan said when they showed God's Menu to JYP, they said something like "Go ahead, If Stray Kids want to release, we are ok with it";
• Chan also said they were always confident about making music, but after God's Menu they took this confidence to another level, everything changed;
• Han said when he wants to make music, he just does. Chan and Changbin said they create music whenever the inspiration comes. But they are always thinking about what they can create;
• Zach said their music and production are amazing, so asked what goes in their brains. Chan said they share the same braincell;
• Stray kids said they always share their ideas, details and what they want to do in their eras, and even if it's loud working together, they love it;
• The members said they want to make a World Tour in 2022;
• They said what they want the most is performing in front of STAY;
• When asked about their favorite part of the creative process, Seungmin said It's while recording, Felix when they make and see the music video, Chan said It's when they create the guides and perform the song live;
• Stray Kids members said they have MANY unreleased songs, like A LOT;
• Felix said they learned a lot while performing for KINGDOM, because of the different styles and challenges they've been doing;
• Chan said they didn't expect to win KINGDOM, they just wanted to be satisfied with their own performances;
• Apparently, Chan saw Christmas EveL viral on Tiktok and said he wrote the "Feliz Navidad I can't feel the evil coming, but Felix? Never bad" especially for Feli and because he wanted to create something fun.

In the end Zach complimented them for the music they make and thanked them for creating them!

This is what I love about the Zach Sang Show. It’s always about genuine questions that don’t get asked, but should be. It’s obvious that a lot of research has gone into the interview.

I’m just really proud of Stray Kids. They’ve gritted their teeth, staggered through numerous barriers but held their heads up high, owning their identity. That takes a lot of courage.

To be fair, I think most of these questions couldn't be asked to most groups, because It's not part of their job (and that's okay, every group have their own strongest points).

But I really like how they are asked to Stray Kids and how happy and confortable they look sharing about their process of creating music. You can see they could be talking about it for hours and wouldn't be tired.

They are stays' pride and I'm glad they are proud of themselves and confident on their own work too.

The way I predicted this exactly! Okay, I never said this out loud or online so maybe it doesn't technically count, but the literal second I finished hearing that line, I just KNEW Chan wrote it specifically for Felix because he sometimes writes lyrics for their songs, is fluent in English (the line was in English) and loves Felix more than all of Stays combined ever will (sad but true).
