Aespa definitly leading now. Big cf, big album sales, stronger digital(as for now). With this comeback, we definitly know NL is popular not because it just viral but because people do really like it. Just compare the girls and Brave girls next comeback after their viral hit, Savage seem to be doing more good on charts compare to CMBR. Prove the girls popularity will be in long term. And oh, The girls slay the chart with ofcourse the experimental song!(just like allkpop stan said)

They aren't doing great at korean charts, none of 4th gen bgs are doing even well if we go for the usual standards

If we go for overall records, since I consider korean charts the most important.

X1 for bgs, no other bg have surpassed their digital charting till this day and their physicals were crazy for a 2019 release

aespa & stayC for ggs, enhypen for bgs maybe but 3rd gen bgs are still dominating so i don’t think any 4th gen bg stand a chance tbh

as you said, the gap with bgs is too close. I'd say TXT is the most balanced when it comes to physicals, korean digitals, international popularity compared to the rest.

E.g. The Boyz have decent korean digitals but lower physicals and not as good international stats

SKZ has high physicals, lower korean digitals but great international stats

Enhypen atm (i'd give them a few more cbs before completely analyzing them), low korean digtials, good international stats, and great physicals (especially for this, i'd wait a few cbs, since its obvious their sales were increasing fast).

While TXT has great international stats , decent korean digtials and High Physicals (i'm hoping and do think they'll surpass that 1M mark next cb, having sold 820k and 600k+ for a repack)

On the other hand, txt has more longevity and uls on Melon and was able to chart on flo, while tbz had better charting on genie and bugs

They both got the biggest Korean fanbase for 4th Gen bg. I'd say there are more kmoas but due to their recent hype with rtk and kd, kdeobis are more active and tbz has the edge on non fans interest in South Korea (based on observation it isn't a sure thing).

But again it's within 4th Gen bg/non bts nct svt and such standards which is very low

So they are kinda tied. Thanks for the info, it's really interesting to see a good competition going between them. I think their next releases could decide which one is the best charting group because the kingdom hype wouldn't be as big

hmm i'd actually say something like since TXT tends to chart better on more UL based charts like Melon 24hits, that they have the edge of casual listeners, versus the boyz who have a more dedicated/hardcore fandom that will mass download and so on (which in turn helps their gaon digital score)?

but i'm not to sure, i'd say they are pretty close atm though either way

Agree with this I*ZONE would be sitting comfotably at #2 behind aespa right now but I guess better odds for YG gg and HYBE gg
