It just crossed my mind how many fcking amazing dancers SM has, despite being known for having the best vocalists in the industry. It's nearly impossible to pick a single one, but these dancers came to mind in this order:

There are literally so many fantastic dancers that many underappreciated lead dancers would actually be main dancers in many other groups, like Key from SHINee, Haechan, Jaehyun and Jeno from NCT, but the strength of some of those SM mains (justifiably) gets all the attention.

Agreed! Those are my personal top ten but it all comes down to preference for lots of them. To make an analogy, if the companies were a sports team, SM would have twice as much depth as most of the competition combined. It's amazing how great they all are.

Kai ofc, Xiumin is really underrated too. He's as good as any of the NCT lead dancers imo (Mark, Jeno, Shotaro), but he gets overshadowed by Kai/Lay and Sehun too for being so popular. Tao was one of the best dancers in EXO too before he quit.

Fcking hell I just died. We stan a dancing icon. I remember seeing some people from a certain fandom I won’t name saying he was hella overrated and was just a good performer. Clearly they know literally nothing about dance because he’s the most versatile dancer in the industry imo, on top of being the most eye catching.

And definitely agree with SUJU. Eunhyuk is hands down one of the best dancers in SM and doesn’t get talked about enough because of age, same with U-know from TVXQ. Also, maybe not dancing but I think when it comes to choreographing, that Shindong is without a doubt the best and needs to be brought up more, since that’s what he’s famous for.
