For artist of the year : i think IU deserve it consider how well Lilac and Celebrity charted and how good was their longevity in the top 10
or Brave girls for the success of We ride and Rollin + how well chit ma ba rum perform on the chart , and the fact that they are the current CF idols, they are the group who had the most successfull songs in the chart this year
for Song of the year : i think Next level is the song who deserve it the most, it have the charting and achievement to back up their success + the fact that the song was viral and make the whole nation sing along and dance to it
it prove that it have the charting and the cultural impact and that made it the biggest song of the year
for Album of the year : NCT dream, from what i know they are the only group who release an album who did well in chart and sales ( i don't know if single album are considered in the album award or it just mean mini album and full album)

album of the year: BTS/NCT
song of the year: rollin' or next level or butter or celebrity (but would they give an old song a win?, I mean rollin')
Rollin won't be eligible.
AOTY: BTS will get it. GDA/MMA might give it to IU.
AlbumOTY: BTS. There will be uproar and a huge controversy with the GP if NCT gets it, but if they count albums + repackage then NCT Dream might get it.
SOTY: Next Level, Celebrity, or Butter. Depends on the awards show.

Based on stats and impact: BTS, IU.
Top 10 songs of the year:
Best selling physicals of the year:
Based on quality, if we only include albums/songs released this year: BTS, TXT.
I just replying to the song of the year "candidates". I would love it to see Brave Girls winning it but because I know it won't happen I think BTS or IU deserve it the most.

IU will probably sweep all major categories at MMA
BTS will probably sweep all major categories at MAMA
Aespa will win ROTY in all award shows and likely Best Dance at MAMA.
Brave Girls should win GG of the year at MAMA, Twice and Oh My Girl will also serve as competition though
BTS and IU will not go, so I think Next Level will win SOTY at AAA and NCT Dream will win ArOTY and AOTY
GDA has awarded things strangely in the past, so if companies do behind work I can see some unexpected winners here as well

I do not know the criteria,
but think while Song, Album of the year, should be based on the release date, so Rollin can't quality; the Artist of the year, should be simply the most impactful artist in the period, even if it was with an older song.
Brave Girls, is truly a phenomenal story of preservation and aspiration. Kpop industry awards would be failing, it they fail to recognize that.
And they do need to introduce new categories.
Best Remake/Cover: Next Level would get that,
Best English language song: Butter, Peaches, PTD (Dynamite in the past), all should compete under that category.

the salt in this thread again and awards show hasn't happened yet.

Talking strictly about SOTY, I would give it to Brave Girls Rollin If not for ineligibility. Not only this song have the chart to back it up, but it also captured the public, and celebrities dance to their viral dance. It propelled their career to a new height. Now, that's an impact, and we love to see it.
Beside Rollin, aespa Next Level is the most deserving song this year. It follows similar pattern, but to a lesser extend. It also have the chart to back it up, but it peaked lower than rollin and the longevity is kinda similar. It also captures the public and celebrities. Many celebrities dance to viral hand gesture. Till today, their public broadcast point in inkigayo is still max.
One thing that Next Level does way better than Rollin and all song this year is korea youtube music. Consider youtube music might be the second biggest market, I think it relevant to mention this. The stream for this song is unusual high for this chart. I only check a few songs to compare. For similar time frame, Next level streams is double celebrity around 80 mil compare to 40 mil. A quick look, Rollin is doing similar number to celebrity, maybe less. To see how massive Next Level on this chart. They are currently on their way to 10 weeks at number 1. I am not sure they can top Dynamite 18 weeks, but it might get close.
About butter and celebrity, they have the chart, but this feel like normal release for them. Now, this is not to downplay them. When BTS and IU release a song, the public and the fans will consume them in large numbers. This is a testament to the popularity. For BTS, Dynamite is that song. For IU, there are many earlier in her career, I am not sure, lost count.
Now, before people jump at me for this opinion, remember, the topic is the who deserving, not who could win.

You missed to mention NL is a remake and not an original song. That is a factor as well.
Though I learn that remakes have been nominated in earlier awards.
