Who are the top 5 GGs of the 3rd Gen?

still too early for BG and anyway viral gg never really ended up becoming the top 5 like exid

as for OMG , theyre hitting the top when the 3rd gen about to take off

Mamamoo is 4th no doubts.

5th honestly i still think its Gfriend. OMG kinda started late like last year. Maybe we can tie it. The top4 is fixed.

It's still too early for BG and OMG to be counted, they'd need more smash hits and more comebacks that do awesome.

I can see OMG creeping up to 5th spot though, if they continue like this.

Nonstop and Dolphin are bigger than any Gfriend’s songs imo. Physicals sales are equal and both have no international presence.

Are Nonstop and Dolphin really doing that much better than GFriend's top songs, like Me Gustas Tu, Rough etc?

As for physical sales, what should be taken into account is that physical sales across the board, for all groups, have doubled to tripled since early 2020.

So that makes comparing current album sales with a few years back in a fair way harder to do.

4th place was definitely MMM no competition

For now 5th is still GFriend, they still have 2 huge hits and some minor hits plus better physical sales compared to the other GGs.

6th is OMG, they might climb since they are still pretty active and their next two comeback could definitely tell whether they can surpass GFriend or not.

Longevity wise, much better. Both songs are on the track to surpass 70 weeks and Dolphin might even surpass that as it’s still top 50 on Melon. I think it would be much more clearer who have the bigger hits if we had peak numbers for the songs as well.

Well, GFriend's just like Mamamoo's last comeback cannot be compared with how they were in peak condition.

Basically, GFriend had their peak in their first few years when OMG were still struggling, while OMG are having their peak right now, where GFriend had been struggling up till their disbandment.

Dolphin's longevity is impressive without a doubt.

I still think Gfriend's peak was more impressive. People thought they might be SNSD's successors at the time and they went on to basically have a very successful entire career.

Oh My Girl only have a few hits under their belt in the past year.

Brave Girls is not 3rd gen, and even then one hit wouldn't put them in the top 5.

Mamamoo/Gfriend - i dont really know because im probably biased towards Gfriend

OMG - have a good run and if they continue they can overcome Gfriend since they are disbanded.

Im Fearless but even i must say they cant get more than a honourably mention. They are not Top 5.

I find it even a little bit insulting to the hard work of the other groups to think 6 month, as successfull as they are, can made up for all they years, the other groups did what they did. Im sorry.

Twice, BP, Red Velvet, Mamamoo and I'll put OMG over Gfriend.

GF disbanded and OMG is still putting out hits so in the long run I see OMG cementing their place.
